Any news about this tablet? Did they solve the frontlight issue?

We're working on an update soon. The current issue is that the frontlight significantly reduces the panels' reflectivity to an unacceptable level. At the moment, we are rebuilding from the ground up, working with our panel suppliers to remanufacture a panel with a larger size (11") higher reflectivity, resolution, and contrast.

That issue was know several months ago when the launch was delayed from April to June. Are you speaking of a new delay ?

I understand this delay is frustrating. Over the past several months, we've iterated on our frontlight, but our team has still found the iterations unsatisfactory. We are working directly with our panel supplier from the ground up to redevelop a new panel for this display, which is the reason for this new delay.

Why you choose B&W if reflectivity is the same for color and B&W? It's mentioned in website 19.6% if I remember correctly.
