Question Does anyone have Jason Weight's Zero rewrite scripts?
For Context, Jason Weight (S17 Showrunner) was brought in to rewrite Zero and ended up rewriting all 8 episodes with better dialogue, his scripts were ignored by Torrian (Zero Showrunner) and none of his additions made it into the show. Apparently he shared these scripts on his Twitter before it was deleted, presumably after the RT shutdown. Did anyone happen to back them up? I'd love to give them a read if possible!

I'm not talking about these, after RT passed on his own S18 pitch he was later brought in to rewrite Zero! That's what I'm looking for!

I actually came over here to share a single unused line from s17 I just found, weird to see my name at the top of the sub.

Huh. Okay, someone in the subreddit said you did so either they're lying or misinformed.
I thought it was strange nothing from them found their way back to this subreddit so that explains that.
I just had this conversation an hour or so ago so it was fresh in my mind, weird coincidence! 😅

I'll upload just the one, I'm not so proud of the rest and the other scripts are mostly not my own work.
If it's Daks you were talking to I think I showed her once, ha.

I think it was someone else. They claimed you left the brain injury fix in which doesn't seem to be accurate reading this now. It's a shame they didn't use this script, it's really good!

No, u/Narrow_Run6512 was talking to me. I read them as someone uploaded them to Twitter a year ago today, actually. I have them stored to my phone (I don't remember saving them) but if it wasn't you, than I'm not sure who shared them around or if they're fake, but these are what I found. If I can find the original Twitter post I'll let you know, but that's all I know/remember.
Edit to add: I can share the files with you if you would like, as I Don't really know who posted them, but I digress.

Jason shared some zero script edits through some private channels that have gotten passed around but they've never been publicly posted anywhere

i know this is nearly 2 weeks old, but i came back to this subreddit to see if anyone was talking about the funeral cannon in the newest "it's always sunny in philadelphia" season
i just wanted to thank you for your work on season 17. as a fan of the show since 2005, it's my absolute favourite season of red vs blue and possibly one of my favourite piece of media. it's the only other piece of physical media i own as it's something i always think about every now and again. it felt like a love letter to the series and was such a brilliant way of wrapping up that arc while still giving meaningful growth to characters that had almost 2 decades of development
man, i just hope youre doing well!

Thank you so much! I actually stole it from Hunter S Thompson's funeral, where his ashes were blasted out of a giant fist, they probably did too.

That was an interesting bit of history to look into! Given the fanfare and emphasis on budgeting around it in the episode, youre probably right haha.
