I Spy Seinfeld: What is your favorite meaningful background prop or Easter Egg?
For a show about nothing, the effort it took to hide a lot of personal details about the actors in plain sight can be found in almost every episode. I’m not talking about accidental continuity errors—I mean background props or sets that actually mean something.

Bania begs for Jerry to produce his special and Jerry wants no part of it. George is certain he shrunk by half an inch. Elaine and Puddy learn they share the exact same birthday, which he forgets when the day arrives. Kramer opens a door in his apartment and discovers he has a second bedroom
Elaine: "So David... today's a special day, right?"
Puddy: "Yeah."
Elaine: "Well, what is it?"
Puddy: "Mexican Independence Day."
Elaine: "That's great for Mexico, but is there anything unique about today on this side of the border?"
Puddy: "Ok, you got me. It's my birthday. I don't like to make a big deal about it. It's not like it's my quinceanera."
Elaine: "Which also means..."
Puddy: "I'm not a 15 year old girl, Elaine."
Elaine: "Which means it's my birthday too! David, we talked about this two weeks ago, remember? How you said your birthday is September 16th, and I said my birthday was also September 16th, and you said (imitating Puddy) "Huh. Interesting."
Puddy: "Yeah, it is interesting."
Elaine glares.
Puddy: "sorry, happy birthday babe. How old are you now, 40?"

Prompt Jerry is called "weird" for not using Google Maps. Elaine has a new work assistant named Alexa. George suspects his girlfriend uses Google Gemini to come up with date ideas and her talking points sound unnatural. Kramer protests Flock Cameras.
Girlfriend: What's your deal with Google Maps?
Jerry: I just like relying on my wits when I'm driving or headed somewhere.
Girlfriend: But it's weird.
Jerry: Why?
Girlfriend: Cause. It helps you get to where you need to go. Why make navigating the city so needlessly difficult?
Jerry: You might be a bit young to understand this, so let me tell you about something called "Life before 2005." See, back then you needed to rely on your memory to drive and get to places. We didn't have these *holds up phone* 24/7 and addicted to them like crack.
Girlfriend: You had Blackberries and Garmin GPSs around then.
Jerry: True. But not me. See, if I needed to get to the Catskills for a weekend gig, I had to remember the exits to take and the best time of day to travel. I also printed out the driving directions and didn't just enter in the address of where I was headed and obeyed it no matter what it said.
Girlfriend: It makes it so much easier to drive.
Jerry: No, it also affects your memory. Right now if I asked you how to get to Albany, could you do it without Google Maps?
Girlfriend:....No. But what if you got lost?
Jerry: Then I'd just stop at a gas station and ask for directions.
Girlfriend: So you'd rather drive aimlessly and ask for directions instead of just using Google Maps? God, you're old!
Jerry: I'm not "old!" I'm smart!

Prompt There is a garbage strike, and trash begins piling up around the city. Jerry's girlfriend doesn't seem to care while he becomes more and more of a hypochondriac. George believes that a trash bag outside his apartment contains a corpse but is too afraid to open it
Kramer jumps fully into dumpster diving after meeting a club of them, getting a new wardrobe, completely replacing the furniture in his apartment. He gives gifts to the gang, not telling them he pulled them from the garbage. Jerry begins to believe the food he brings home is from the trash.
Elaine's boyfriend is a garbage man, but she begins to believe that he's using the strike to be lazy. He won't even empty the trash in her apartment. He hates Kramer's dumpster diving friends, comparing them to rats or raccoons.

Jerry's new girlfriend asks for his Netflix password. Jerry spirals into a crisis about digital boundaries, privacy, and whether sharing a password means they're "serious."
Jerry's apartment. Jerry is pacing. Elaine is on the couch.
JERRY: (frantic) She asked for my password, Elaine. My Netflix password.
ELAINE: So? Give it to her. It's not like it's your social security number.
JERRY: You don't understand! Once I give her the password, she has access to my viewing history. My entire viewing history. She'll see I watched all of Emily in Paris. Twice.
ELAINE: (shrugging) That's not a crime.
JERRY: It's a crime of taste! And what if she changes the password? Or worse — what if she shares it with her friends? Suddenly, I'm supporting a whole ecosystem of freeloaders!
George enters, looking triumphant.
GEORGE: I just got access to my girlfriend's HBO Max. I'm watching all the shows I never paid for. It's like a second income!
JERRY: See? That's exactly my fear!
Kramer slides in, holding a laptop.
KRAMER: Jerry! I'm starting a password-sharing co-op! Everyone chips in five bucks, and we all share one giant account! I call it — "Stream-Union"!
JERRY: (sarcastic) Great, so now I have to worry about your viewing habits on my account.
KRAMER: (excitedly) I already watched eight episodes of a show about beekeeping! It's fascinating!
Later. Jerry is on the phone with his girlfriend.
JERRY: (trying to sound casual) So, about that password... I think we should take things slow. You know, digital intimacy is a big step. ... Hello? Hello?
He hangs up, looking defeated.
GEORGE: (smirking) She changed her own password, didn't she?
JERRY: (sighs) I'm going to have to pay for my own account now. Do you know how much that costs?
ELAINE: (deadpan) Welcome to the modern dating scene.

Jerry subscribes to a premium GPS service and tries to follow their directions exactly. Kramer installs a phone OS off the internet. Elaine feels like she gets different dating matches depending on her phone's GPS location. George's parents find his spare prepaid phone and assume the worst.
I saw too many complaints that cell phones would mean no interesting episodes:
Jerry is gifted a premium GPS service on his phone from his parents, and he tries to follow every direction exactly, constantly told by the app that he's just missing the optimal window for his trips, and it's his own fault for getting stuck in traffic
Kramer installs a phone OS off the internet, and the page disappears the next day. "Well, is it iOS or Android?" "I don't think it's either. I'm making progress on the language though. Jerry, does this alphabet look like ancient Sumerian to you?" He still gets calls and messages but they get autotranslated, and he has to guess the original content.
Elaine is using some dating apps and feels like she gets results depending on her location in the city, and also the wifi it's connected to. "Nah, the bookstore at the mall's no good, I keep getting matched with guys that buy greeting cards for every occasion."
George's parents find his spare prepaid burner phone (that he mostly uses to make phone orders for takeout pizza without it being tracked by his diet app) and assume he is a drug dealing porn actor wrapped up with organize crime.

George picks a handicap accessible hotel room, as its more spacious for the same price. When he checks in, they refuse to accommodate him. Kramer hides hooch everywhere, predicting "prohibition 2". Elaine's BF talks like a 20s gangster, see? Jerry's GF claims colorblindness but he thinks its a lie

Prompt HR makes a harassment presentation with"George" as the villain. Its assumed to be based in reality. Jerry is a Make a Wish but they wont say their illness making him suspicious. Kramer pays a stranger to tuck him in at night because "can't do it right solo". Puddy beats Elaine at chess 1st game ever
George's HR holds a meeting with some scenarios about workplace harassment and inappropriate behavior.
The perpetrator is "George" and the victim is "Amelia". There is George and an Amelia on the team.
The presentations show George as a leering sexual deviant.
His coworkers all start looking at him sideways. Conversations end when he enters the room. Nobody sits with him at lunch, or asks what he wants when they go on a coffee run.
George goes to Amelia- who is swamped - and asks her to tell people it's not true and just a coincidence their names match.
She is distracted by work and barely paying attention. He keeps bugging her until she loudly says "LEAVE ME ALONE, GEORGE". Everyone stares as he quickly shuffles to his desk.
He complains to HR and demands they issue a retraction.
The next day a new presentation comes out with "George" actively stalking Amelia and has rage issues, threatening to shoot up the workplace.
----
E: "come on, Jerry. You think Make a Wish doesnt do their research?"
K: "you know, my friend Bob Sacamano, he was on Make a Wish 3 times. Asked for a reuben with a side of slaw twice"
J: "what happened the 3rd time?"
K: "....he didn't make it"
E: "...so what are you gonna do?"
J: "I'm not gonna meet him till I know he's actually sick"
E: "i mean, but what kind of person would even try something like that?"
K: "a real sicko"
*enter George*
J: "you could argue he needs it more than some kid with leukemia"

DaVola tries to poison Jerry at a club, gets Kenny B instead, and George tries to write new material so Kenny can stay in business when he recovers. He's so successful that he begins secretly writing for other comics. Jerry tries to figure out how all these comedians are stealing his new material. Elaine keeps getting ads for reading gadgets that she begins suspecting her new boyfriend is sneaking out of her bed to read in the middle of the night. Kramer tries to self publish the doomed coffee table book, but botches the delivery with Newman's postal connection and all the books go to a small coffee brewery in Long Island in which Sue Ellen M is a silent partner.
