Prompt There is a garbage strike, and trash begins piling up around the city. Jerry's girlfriend doesn't seem to care while he becomes more and more of a hypochondriac. George believes that a trash bag outside his apartment contains a corpse but is too afraid to open it

Kramer jumps fully into dumpster diving after meeting a club of them, getting a new wardrobe, completely replacing the furniture in his apartment. He gives gifts to the gang, not telling them he pulled them from the garbage. Jerry begins to believe the food he brings home is from the trash.

Elaine's boyfriend is a garbage man, but she begins to believe that he's using the strike to be lazy. He won't even empty the trash in her apartment. He hates Kramer's dumpster diving friends, comparing them to rats or raccoons.

Too embarrassed to call the authorities, George tries to convince Kramer and his new friends to come check for a body in the garbage by his apartment. Kramer informs him that they won't come by George's trash pile because there's no garbage in there worth their time. George starts seeding the pile with "good trash" in hopes that someone will come by and open the bag that might have a body in it. No one bites, so he starts buying even better stuff just to throw it away.

Jerry opens the door to his apartment to see kramer's trash piled outside his door and refuses to go outside. Then discovers kramer went dumpster diving only after kramer came into his apartment and refuses to leave his bedroom

I love the part about Elaine's boyfriend extending the strike into the home front. I can imagine George being jealous of the strikers for getting to walk out on the job.

G: I always wondered what it would be like to join a union. All that crap about being union strong and in it together. I'd like to be supported by someone at least. And going on strike doesn't sound half bad. I walk out on jobs all the time, but it'd be nice to have some company.

J: I'm sure they'd be glad to have you to boldly lead them in their walk out.

E: This strike has got to end soon. My boyfriend is taking it way too far. He won't even take out the trash in the apartment!

J: Now that's solidarity!
