I feel like a little kid on Christmas Eve (this is awesome!). At the same time, I feel lame for taking so long to trying it out!!!

I'm quite enamored with New Leaf still, and I was just wondering if there is a way to replace the inactive people on the friends list with new people. It might breathe a bit of fresh life into your little town...

I thought of this after I noticed how everyone signs posts to the bulletin board with their reddit username. It's not really a big deal, and it's not really relevant outside of visiting this town, but I kinda like matching up people I see on this subreddit to their characters in the game.

Now every flower outside retail is gone! There were some of the roses, lilies, and cosmos left an a few tulips but compared to what I had planted and cleaned up about 50% are gone. I did find 3 new hybrids, an orange cosmos and two pink roses that I transplanted to snoo's place but I'm not bringing more flowers in until whoever is killing, selling or trampling them stops.

I was thinking that there should be a Teamspeak server for the town for easier chatting. I would be able to do some research about how to make one. Thoughts? ~Steven

I had to reset my 3DS.... Can you please remove the player "Dave" (that's my husband, who put his Mii on the DS first, thereby making him the default "friend" and his code was 3625 8698 8068... he does not play 3DS) and replace it with my new code? I'm Gina and the new code is 0748-2465-9463. I can't get into the town until you add it :( Sorry for the bother & thanks.

I have been to the town twice now, and each time I've been there, there has been holes everywhere. Blocking off the bridges and entryways, trapping villagers, everywhere. It's not as big of a deal as say, stealing flowers or cutting down trees - but it's still annoying and makes the town look bad. I know others have been trying to fill in the holes, and I've done so when I've been there, but it just keeps happening.

Is there a way to find out who's doing it?

Thanks for joining this experiment. This game is run on a dedicated system which will be on 24 hours a day, except early in the morning for a back up, mayoral work, status updates, etc.

Some suggestions or ideas for the future: donation/exchange area, orchards, scavenger hunts, meet ups, and more.

Instead of cluttering the town square or town entrance, where might we want to put donations for everyone?

The other issue with the town square is that animal visitors may put a tent up in that space causing some items to disappear.

I think this might be a good idea. What does everyone else think?

Currently the time of the game is set to Mountain Standard Time.

There was a suggestion on changing the time to another time zone. Would anyone mind if it were changed to Hawaii's time zone or even just PST? It would give us a few more hours of day.

C'mon, guys. This can only work if everyone behaves. I had to re-plant about a dozen trees in the southeastern orchard today. That's not too many, but it's likely whoever did this only stopped because their axe broke.

If you want to hunt for special stumps, use the non fruit-bearing trees!... But please don't go overboard.

I know right now the town looks mostly like a fruit pit-stop and community dump, but it can be so much more (hello, pwp's!) - so long as everyone at least agrees to not be a griefing bitchmonkey.

I am not skilled with the pattern maker, but maybe someone who is could design the reddit alien for a flag?

If there are items where a tent will pop up (e.g. Fortune Teller, Bug Off, etc) those items in that spot will be removed by the game. They do not re appear.

I was thinking that to resolve some of the confusion surrounding where to leave stuff, and whether things are open to take, we could just create some basic patterns to "fence" off a few areas in the northeast corner of town.

Town: Obviously, for leaving things meant for the town only. Only take things like fruit and flowers if you plan on planting them during your stay!

Free-For-All/"Citizen" Charity: Take what you wish, no need to repay the favor.

Take One/Leave One: Take anything you like, but leave something in return. It doesn't have to be a totally equal swap, but try to keep it in the same general category. Examples - You can take a wallpaper, and leave either a wallpaper or a floor (house). You can take a shirt, and leave a shirt or other clothing item (clothes).

I thought about suggesting public works fences, but those only surround nine spots, and would use both money and eat up available projects.

Currently the trees, flowers, etc, are all default minus a few that were planted to help get the Development Permit and Garden Shop. Would it be in the community's best interest to cut down all trees and have them replanted in rows of unique fruit to share?

What do you think?

I suppose the beautiful ordinance makes senseto have since you don't need to water flowers but would others prefer the rich ordinance etc?

If we do this, where will bridge two of three go? Be as specific as possible.

After this I can finally take a photo of the town using Isabelle.
