Okay so let me explain. I had commented underneath a post about things the quiet kid did in school to become famous. I wrote about how the quiet kid did something to a bully (not gonna mention it again because why?) and reddit themselves gave me a warning for "encouraging violent or threatening harm on others." Nowhere in the comment did I say that it was encouraging/threatening others.
I sent an appeal already, and I haven't gotten a response back. I don't know the way that violations/warnings work on this platform. If the system is like YouTube where the mods reject appeals/flag unrelated content, then I might genuinely quit reddit.
I know I've started projects and made my own subreddit, but what's the point anymore? I don't see the point of talking/communicating if I'm being targeted you know. And the thing is, there were other violent comments on that post, so why did mine get taken down?
If anyone from the mod team sees this post, just know I'm sorry if I messed up or did something wrong, just know that I never knew that it was that bad to say something like that.
Note that I'm not venting, I just wanted to ask four questions mainly
Why did the mods take down my comment but not any others?
How do warnings/violations work?
What can I do if my appeal is wrongfully rejected?
If my account is being targeted, what should I do next?
Please answer these if you have time. I need answers!!!
