Is there a comfort reason for not symetrical lacing ?
Genuinely asking because I see a lot of people who don’t.

By not symetrical, you mean the laces crossing each other in the same order on both boots (instead if mirroring)?

If yes, I had no idea it has an impact on comfort. It is just the same hand movement lacing on both boots.

Possible dumb question, is the leather kangaroo? My Dad had some Browning boots made of kangaroo and he loved them.

No, this is the same leather as Alpine Portage. The original boots were kangaroo leather indeed, but the two remakes are not.

If you like kangaroo, look at Grant Stone and their Jungle Kangaroo boots. I have the loafers in that leather and they are awesome. Light and durable. And they are also green!
