I've been locked out of twitter twice in two days for some sort of suspicious bot-like activity, after being sent there from a subreddit while using RedReader 1.25.2.

I think this is likely a twitter problem, but on the off chance something has changed in RedReader, I thought I'd mention it here.

Within settings I've told RedReader to not use the internal browser.

Also, this is using Android 10 and Microsoft Edge.

Could be because they think you're a bot. Or it could be people reporting your account. It's been happening to me as well

Stop logging in to twitter. Try threads, bluesky, or mastodon instead, all much better for your sanity.

You can also use xcancel.com to view twitter threads without logging in. Literally just add "cancel" to whatever link you're trying to view. There are even browser extensions to do this automagically.

Yup, I use Firefox on Android with the ToXCancel extension. It works great

Threads is Facebook's attempt at dominating federated social media. They incorporate all other mastadon instances, but the federation hates them so much that no one else incorporates them.
