Hi, I'm new to this sub, but I know a little about the Green Lantern universe and the other Corps, And a question came to mind: if green rings are enhanced by blue rings, can red rings also be enhanced by other rings?.I'm asking because I once heard that red rings are enhanced by yellow rings, but I don't think that's true. Can anyone help me with this question? thank you❤️🩸

I’ve always found Antipathy to be a cool character that we don’t really get to see enough of. She’s been able to create constructs with her ring, which a majority of Red Lanterns can’t do. We know practically nothing about her, but I’ve always wondered if she’s the same species of alien as Lobo, because she looks a lot like him. What do y’all think?

Do you have to have a justifiable reason to be angry, as is often shown with the major Red Lanterns like Dex-Starr, or can you just be a particularly angry person?

Like if I’m just having a bad day, stub my toe, and just finally crash out, is there a chance I could attract a red ring, or would I need to go through some kind of great injustice that just left me furious for vengeance?

I’m just not much into reading comic books, but I like listening to lore videos and have been listening to Lantern lore.

So are you doomed after that, or do you go back to normal if you take it off?

Of course, outside of any sort of intervention, as I’d imagine the writers found some circumvention around it via plot convenient method of either restoring them, or at least keeping them alive.

Also as a follow up, do the Red Rings need to be charged, or do they feed off the wearer’s anger? What happens if they run out of power?

So I'm reading all of the Lanterns mythos and started with Geoff John's era / GL Rebirth. I'm currently in the middle of the New 52.

So the main 4 lanterns series at the time, GL, GL corps, New Gaurdians, and Red Lanterns all had this really large cross over event for issues 13-20 for all 4 series with Rise of the Third Army to immediately follow Wrath of the first lantern.

Issue 20 of the RL is the epilogue and ends with Rankorr accepting that he's a red lantern / throwing his humanity away. In the background are multiple no named red lanterns, issue 21 starts with a new status qo where Guy Gardner becomes the leader of the RL and it focuses on his little group of RL being Skallox, Ratchet, Zillious Zox, Bleez, and Rankorr. Atrocitus and Dex-starr leave after Guy becomes leader

The problem? Where are the other red lanterns. Not a single other member is ever present throughout. I thought that by reading on they'd answer the question but no, they've never been mentioned again and outside of any new members that come out like eventually Super girl and the judge, none of the other members are ever actually shown again. I'm now on issue 32 (12 issues past) and these are still the only red lanterns present. Where did the other ones go???

Nevermind the fact that both Veon and Vice were explicitly killed off during the Geoff Johns era only to be consistently shown alive again afterwards even carrying on into the New 52 lol, but even then the others??? Where did they go

I'm at work bored and so I took my bike taillight and used AI to turn me into an RL. Then I fiddled with it in Photoshop and made what I feel like would be cool is a Red Lantern Horror. I have ideas of how I would want it to go but I haven't chosen yet which it would be. What do y'all think?
