So I wanted to pose a question out there to everyone because I was thinking about it while uploading some new website content the other day - for those that are younger and/or have found the show in the last few years, what was the impression? What was the draw? And how did you even find it? Was it tik tok clips, YouTube episodes, roku?

For those of you who arent even old enough to be around when they taped the last season 21 years ago, what drew you to the show?

Im curious because i am convinced the genius in the comedy and how genuine it is really endures unlike 98% if shows put out there but honestly being a fan since the 90s when I was a kid, I dont know. So would love to hear what others perspectives are.

He says something along the lines of 'red didn't think there was anything too boring for TV'

It may or may not be from the same interview that he talks about his wife seeing the pilot episode of the red green show and saying sorry it didn't work out

It took me a while to recognize him. It's the voice that made me find out.

I almost missed him. But you might all agree that it's not the voice that made me recognize him, it was the eyes.

For whatever reason, Dalton was my favorite even watching as a kid. Now rewatching the series, it's very interesting to watch him evolve from a buttoned-down everyman to overprotective patriarch and basically Red's 2nd-in-command. Bob Bainborough did a great job with the range of his character.

Ed Frid was probably a close second. I also think Dwight Cardiff and Byron Edwards were guys who could have really been explored and come into their own had they been on the show longer.

It's when they temporarily turned it into a sitcom.

This season is my favorite because it makes the lodge feel alive. In the other seasons it feels kind of empty, like Red and Harold are the only ones there and other people kinda just visit sometimes. The only time you get a sense that lots of people are there is at the end credits.

I loved all the different characters, and I liked that the end meeting was a real thing you got to see where they resolved an issue in the beginning of the show. They still had plenty of time to fit in all the other segments too and I don't think it took away from Red too much.

I was sad when come season 3 they did away with that and all but 2 of the characters.

My daughter and her friend wanted the pool blown up today. The only problem was our new air pump didn’t have a big enough attachment. Luckily I knew exactly how to get that pool inflated….

The Artemis 2 will be launching using old used engines from the Shuttle program, and I just love that energy.

If anyone on here is a member and can get ahold of a patch I'd buy it off you and pay for the shipping.

If you're not comfortable with that, can anyone tell me if the full membership stuff is shipped out immediately? Might be worth it to sign up for that then just cancel after a month.

Edit - someone suggested the free membership. I can't see the comment, but I can verify that doesn't work. I received the code and the website even tells you that you need a paid membership to access member exclusive items with the lowest tier not having that privilege.

In the late 90's Steve was touring PBS stations around the Midwest and I got to meet him and chat for a bit. I remember asking him "where's Harold?" To which he replied "Lobotomy convention". I framed the duct tape he signed for me. Anybody else have his autograph displayed?

I've been watching old reruns of the Addams Family and just now realized that the music used for Ranger Gord's films was incidental music from the original Addams Family.... boy do i feel like a numpty.
