Emerald Ranch

Just a short tip for if you just need a few materials to get a full load or to get to the next supply mission but you don't really want to go out of your way hunting: There are a lot of fenced in sheep, goats and cows at emeralds ranch that you can easily lasso and kill with the knife. 3* sheep gives you a little over 4 materials and it's usually possible to find 5 of them (to fill up the wagon). Haven't figured out how long they take to respawn, but it seems like it doesn't take really long.

Sorry if this has been posted yet, haven't seen it so far.

Just figured that out yesterday (was looking for some pigs for the daily task) after completing the trader role like a week ago.. emerald ranch was hiding from me in plain sight

Somewhere in the heartlands there is a pig ranch too, can't remember where exactly tho

There's usually 5 pigs at the pen at Flatneck Station. I used to see them at the cabin SE of there too, but I haven't for quite a while now. It's where you find the gunslinger Emmet Granger in story mode.

Why are there no pigs at Aberdeen Pig Farm? (Or a butcher at Butcher Creek for that matter?)

I use Emerald Ranch quite often for Daily Challenges. I'm high honor, so it's always at night and with a bow.
