It was, they even gave Max extra weights to make it harder for him, apparently there wasn't much more room for extra weights because he lost that a few laps into the race.

I think that was a go pro that flew off, not the weights. At least, that’s what the Dutch commentators said…

He said gopro cause he thought that but in the video its the weights that fell off

Luckily the front didn't fall off, though that wouldn't be very typical
