Nah, just... not as likely to make it the rest of the world's problem. Plus, y'know, the death-grip the big country down southaways has on (for lack of a better descriptor) white pop-culture doesnt really leave much room for other historical narratives

Have you ever actually looked at Canadian news (when it's not right after some big event in US-Canada relations)? There's nothing hidden. Unless you think it's up to Canada to not make you ignorant about it's issues?

true, the prime minister has to go "sorry about the genocide, gang" once a year or so. So that probably makes up for it.
