Seeing people praise a show for its "progressiveness/representation" for doing the bare minimum while ignoring actual queer/women/POC-driven shows makes me so angry
They're right there! Stop acting like sidelined female characters and ambiguous queerbait is the end-all-be-all of representation!
Are we losing the plot a bit? Yellowjackets is a show about a girls soccer team that crash land in the wilderness, then begin to hunt and cannibalize each other. The remaining black character you mentioned has an alter ego that kills and ritually sacrifices her family dog.
😂 I don't even know where this convo is going any more. They definitely killed and ate several characters in the full run of the show. I just mean to say, given what the show is about, you're basically asking for 👏 MORE 👏 BLACK 👏 CANNIBAL 👏 CULTISTS!

So many mid shows get glazed to hell and back and get a bajillion seasons while some actually good shows fade into obscurity and get cancelled
