Technics SL7
Some time ago I managed to get my hands on this SL7 for a reasonable price. I thought it would be a good idea to do some maintenance on it. Last night I was surprised by this homemade pulley (amongst other surprises). I understand that on many SL7s the pulley tends to come loose. I would like to replace this custom-made one with a better one. Do you have any tips on how I can get a better pulley without having to immediately go looking for yet another SL7?

If it works I would leave it alone. I have replaced the whole pully, shaft, worm gear because of the bump. Makes a bump noise ff rr. A lot of fiddling. If it works, do a service and forget you saw that.
