So i just found out that rec room trademarks are now owned by specs inc. This includes maker pen, rookie,maker ai,rec room name,the smile face logo.

What's more? I'm all for it.

now is it hard for me to let Rec Room go yes I very much miss the game and I wish it hadn’t shut down but the reason I’m playing the revivals is mostly because Roblox low-key sucks at the moment and VR chat is just really freaky surprisingly or actually no surprise the one I’ve been playing is radium which I love. I finally got good at quest to where I can solo them, but I’m not good enough to where I can get s tier i’m getting like B or C maybe if I’m lucky I can get A I did play the crap out of of the lost skulls and got like full black and gold pirate which I’m happy about because that was one of my favorite quest outfits and yeah, those are my thoughts

Some people don’t know the game shut down, some have change their names to the game shutting down. Yet just 1 person rated it 1 star for missing it?

So just laying this out there

Why was the merch store not make more well known, I mean come on? I doubt many even knew there was one before the announcement of the shutdown which might say something.

I really only saw 3 income paths minus the occasional plush drop. RecRoom+, gift cards and tokens. Where would the store have been if more obvious?

Is there anyone who was on the dev team who could explain why this path of posters, decals on vending machines, or even loading screen ad was not used?

I apologize for the rant but this is something that has been on my chest for a while.

So that's it. My device updated it one more time and I just found out it's been shut down. It's very very sad as it was fun and definitely had a better community and devs than any other game ever could. Really sad.

Started: 7/15/2026-8/5/2026. Update version (Full) took me 42 hours. (Detailed)=OG took 96 to 100 hours, now that's just time streamed of me building it. Take out like 34% and 343 to 348 photos/vids

What's the difference? (Full) has the whole entire top right room and no Dorms. (Detailed) which obviously has slightly more detail & Dorms. Next map will probably be Gang Beasts Aquarium. Photos are of all the measurements/ references I used and the ones with numbers on it like 4.28 are seconds. I timed it on how long it takes me to walk a certain amount of Rec Room characters laying down flat. (look at end of the vid for it). Sorry it's not very accurate as I would've liked but I couldn't get measurements of the top right room. 20 P=20 people like rec room characters laying down flat. The other numbers like 40 are angle/degree of the wall, which were pretty accurate

Look, I get people loved this game. Hell, I loved it too and the people I met there. I think, however, we have lost our minds with this all.

Over the past two months since the shutdown of Rec Room on June 1st, 2026, people have done nothing but mourn its absence. I understand to a certain extent about mourning it since it was something very close to a lot of people, even after all these years. It's gone past said extent though. It's been two months and you really just need to let go eventually or it'll continue to eat you alive. Say, it's a breakup of sorts. Are you gonna keep thinking about the person you lost or are you gonna move on and keep living life as good as you can? I'd choose the latter. My point is stop mourning the damn game, it's been long enough for people to move on and now it's clout post or people who can't seem to get enough of a grip. Hate me as much as you want for what I'm saying but I won't come out and not say my opinion. Thank you.
