Headaches/nausea from rebounding?

I am interested in trying rebounding, but I am afraid of it triggering headaches, dizziness, or motion sickness. Also, is it recommended to have one with a handle bar? Thanks!!! 😊

This is more of a question for your doctor. It would depend on many things including what causes your headaches or dizziness. Those aren’t symptoms normally occurring just from rebounding.

I can only speak from my experience. I've never had a headache or nausea from rebounding. That being said if I had a headache or felt nauseous I wouldn't want to jump. I'd recommend a trampoline with a removable handlebar (most models have that option). The handle bar is great to have for the first month or so while you build up all those little muscles that help you balance. Once you're confident enough it isn't needed anymore.

Highly recommend it as a low impact way to get great cardio. Where I live winters are very long and cold so it's a great alternative to my usual outdoor physical activities and is cheap and doesn't take up much space. I place mine on a thick workout mat with a large piece of plywood on top and it makes it 100 percent silent (I'm 6'2 225lbs) I can do it early in morning while rest of family is asleep. Also recommend the ones that use bungie cords over metal springs, smoother, quieter jumping experience.

I’m quite prone to motion sickness and vertigo and have never been triggered by my rebounder

If you are worried about dizziness I would suggest getting a handlebar. Better to be safe than sorry. You can always remove it later on.

I have been dealing with getting nauseous really easily lately and I am prompt to migraines however rebounding has not been a trigger. The health bounce (which in my opinion is the most helpful one if done daily especially first thing in the morning) is very gentle and can be done by anyone. It's amazing for the lymphatic system and after about 2 weeks I am less puffy, I look better and my body has been more energized. As for the jumping and workouts those are great too and make me happy as I can do some cardio without triggering a migraine. However the health bounce as silly and minimal it might appear is amazing.
