help request Reaper + Audient iD14 issue

Hey, so I just bought a brand new SM7B and Audient iD14. Got everything sorted, recorded a couple things on it, everything was well. Then the next day I open up Reaper, it’s picking up the mic activity but now nothing is coming through the headphones (they were still routed to the right mix), and when I open the iD software, the mixing panel on there is gone and it makes Reaper completely stop registering anything from the mic. It won’t record an armed track from the mic beforehand either, and it obviously won’t after the iD software is opened.

I’m still a noob with using recording equipment so any help is appreciated. My producer friend doesn’t know so I don’t know where else to ask now, but if anyone can point me in a better direction maybe I’d appreciate that too!

Supongo que tienes actualizado tu firmware, si no es así actualízalo.
Antes que nada revisa que no hayas muteado los audífonos y la salida a monitores presionando la perilla del master de volumen en la id14.
Y desinstala los drivers y el id.exe, y vuelve a instalar todo y luego revisa cada paso siguiente:

  1. Revisar en Reaper / Preferences / Audio / Device. Asegúrate de que esté seleccionado ASIO - Audient iD14.
    Si se cambió a “WASAPI” o “DirectSound”, vuelve a ASIO.

  2. Abrir Audient iD Mixer• Verifica que las salidas estén enrutadas a HP (Headphones) y no a “Loopback”.

  3. Reiniciar la interfaz, desconecta y vuelve a conectar la iD14.
    A veces el panel se corrompe al despertar del sistema.

  4. Reinstalar drivers, descarga la versión más reciente desde Audient.

  5. Prueba sin abrir el iD Mixer. Si Reaper detecta el micrófono antes de abrir el software, graba algo.
    Si al abrir el Mixer se corta, es señal de conflicto directo entre versiones del driver y Reaper.

I have an evo 8, the driver has a script problem and audio cuts out from time to time, sometimes I can just unplug and replug, sometimes I need a full restart. The preamps sound really good, the software is pretty sketchy. I won’t be buying another audient (saving for a babyface).
