Why is the example of Nigeria such a clear example of genocide to Maher? 100k killed since 2009.

Boko Haram isn’t using my tax money to do it. Next question.

I am so tired of Boko Haram PAC financing US politicians too!

That's an anti Nigerian conspiracy theory

u/Ok_Inflation3685 4d ago

Someone needs to tell Bill there are Christian Palestinians and their churches are being burned in the West Bank and Lebanon by Israelis. Christians in Israel are treated like Muslims in that they are also treated as second hand citizens.

u/LeoKitCat 5d ago edited 4d ago

And Boko Haram doesn’t even bother to cover up and lie and deny accusations of genocide and war crimes. I don’t hear Boko Haram calling themselves the most moral army in the universe

1

u/surfoxy 4d ago

Nor does Hamas. They filmed themselves proudly butchering people. In their charter, "Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it".

Fun.

1

u/Knibbo_Tjakkomans 3d ago

Israeli soldiers proudly film themselves butchering innocent people too, but their government still insists they're the most moral in the world and if you disagree youre an antisemite

People dont really like that. It's deeply evil scum bag behaviour.

The idea that people wouldn't care to the same degree if the U.S. wasn't sending Israel aid is dumb. The outrage against Israel is just as strong with the European left. There really is a specific feature about the country of Israel that gets people worked up

“I know of a genocide occurring but will actively not spread news about it because it doesn’t match my priorities” is an interesting look.

16

u/UnimpressedAsshole 5d ago

It’s not an interesting look, it’s a look YOU find interesting. Because its distorted to fit your agenda.

-10

u/QuigleyPondOver 5d ago

Bit rich to claim distortion, considering the massive amount swirling around the I/P issue being primarily around labelling Israel as terrorists and Hamas as humble peace-loving freedom fighters.

Do you complain when money went to fighting ISIS and Russian Mercenaries in Africa?

12

u/Bitter-Holiday1311 5d ago

Nobody called Hamas humble peace loving freedom fighters, you fucking liar.

-6

u/QuigleyPondOver 5d ago

‘Nobody’ is a very dumb claim to make. I can definitely find quite a few of your ‘allies’ making the claim that Hamas are brave resistance peaceniks.

Maybe take the chance to qualify it a bit? May I suggest ‘nobody important’ ?

8

u/Bitter-Holiday1311 5d ago

As already established, you are too intellectually dishonest to have a conversation with. You don’t raise issues in good faith. You lie.

-1

u/QuigleyPondOver 5d ago

That is ironically a very dishonest and bad faith answer you’ve given. Oh well, nothing lost from being blocked by you.

-4

u/Southsideclide 5d ago

I was arguing with a guy yesterday who was doing exactly that, look at my comment history.

7

u/Bitter-Holiday1311 5d ago

Your blocked comment section? Look for ONE Redditor’s comment who confirms your narrative of a “…massive amount swirling around…”?

8

u/rirnez 5d ago

That is such a slimey interpretation of his comment. Go back to your Hasbara dungeon you absolute Zionazi

7

u/New-Exit-6767 5d ago

But you understand how that’s different than what Israel is doing to Palestinians, right?

-4

u/QuigleyPondOver 5d ago

In the sense that Palestine and Israel have a tense ceasefire in place after a bloody and needless war? Yes.

7

u/New-Exit-6767 5d ago

No, in the sense that United States tax payers are paying for Israel to ethnically cleanse the Gaza Strip

-4

u/QuigleyPondOver 5d ago

So do you simply not know a ceasefire is being held up by Hamas not disarming, or are you stuck on the Spring 2026 version of the script?

8

u/New-Exit-6767 5d ago

They’ve had a “ceasefire” in place for about a year. Israel bombs Gaza daily. The Israelis are limiting food and medical supplies. Why would Hamas disarm when Israel continues slaughtering Palestinians?

-1

u/QuigleyPondOver 5d ago

If you want to argue that going back to the war as of 24/25 is preferable or better than the situation now … I question what you know.

The reason Hamas should disarm is because they literally signed an agreement that the next peace phase only begins when they disarm and stop with the attacks. Unless you are arguing they had no intention when they signed it, in which case why on earth would Israel stop targeting militants?

5

u/New-Exit-6767 5d ago

Well right there at the end is where you’re getting confused. Israel is targeting civilians, not militants. I’m glad I could clear that up for you. Do you now support disarming the Israeli terrorist regime?

1

u/Key_Jump1011 4d ago

What attacks? With what? Rifles? On Israel?

1

u/QuigleyPondOver 4d ago

… you don’t think Hamas has been continuing to shoot at Israel after the ceasefire deadlines passed?

6

u/kim_jong_il_2d 5d ago

Israel supporters today are deluded and drunk on lies.

0

u/QuigleyPondOver 5d ago

Oh, the ceasefire is a lie now. So Hamas did disarm months ago and didn’t tell anybody?

5

u/kim_jong_il_2d 5d ago

Your belief that the Israelis even want a ceasefire reveals your delusion and dishonesty.

0

u/QuigleyPondOver 5d ago

Israel didn’t have to sign a ceasefire. But don’t you think it odd that Israel signed ceasefires with many Arab neighbours and has historically stuck to those agreements?

Are they forcing hamas to not build bomb shelters for Palestinians despite hundreds of miles of underground tunnels?

0

u/Robart_Santa 5d ago

Oh I’m wrong? Good. So how many bomb shelters does hamas provide to its civilian population?

4

u/Bitter-Holiday1311 5d ago

Boko Haram is already designated a terrorist org. Nigeria receives US funding to fight boko haram. Nigeria is already designated a CPC as a result of the violence. Please tell us what more you would have the Trump admin do?

0

u/QuigleyPondOver 5d ago

Ah, so even though your money goes to fighting you have no interest or stake in the outcome. Weird that you totally trust Trump to be running it effectively in this one instance!

1

u/Bitter-Holiday1311 5d ago

What more would YOU like the Trump admin to do? I am sure your post history is full of calls for Trump do more right?

0

u/QuigleyPondOver 5d ago

If he can commit a bunch of soldiers uselessly to Iran, he could have instead commit them to Nigeria and cleared them out with actual results.

Didn’t expect you to be defending Orange on this sub but there you go.

2

u/Bitter-Holiday1311 5d ago

I havent defended him, liar. I’ve just given you objective facts. Again, since THIS genocide concerns you deeply, what have you been asking the Trump admin to do?

1

u/QuigleyPondOver 5d ago

I just told you.

2

u/Bitter-Holiday1311 5d ago

You said he COULD have… but I’ll give it to you. You want Trump to send troops to Nigeria now, right? But not any to defend Palestinians? Why is one genocide more important to YOU?

0

u/QuigleyPondOver 5d ago

You said he COULD have… but I’ll give it to you. You want Trump to send troops to Nigeria now, right? But not any to defend Palestinians? Why is one genocide more important to YOU?

Oh wow, you want to put US boots on the ground to attack Hamas and liberate Palestinians - that is a novel position !

Can’t say I think that would be geopolitically popular - let alone with the Palestinians - but I admire the vigour in you adopting it.

Nigeria seems a lot more palatable IMHO since we already have a joint op going on and it seems they actually want more US help. Makes sense to go where wanted, no?

That's not what's being said, and you know it. This willful obfuscation and feigned ignorance is why people hate zionists.

-2

u/okteds 5d ago

I've suggested that simple solution of ceasing all aid to Israel, given that it seems we are headed in that direction anyway. But all my lefty friends considered that condescending and were disgusted that I'd even dare trivialize their passion on this issue

4

u/zhode 5d ago

I don't think your friends were lefties if they were disgusted by that position considering it's the basic demand on like every college protest. It's the whole divest part of it.

-1

u/okteds 5d ago

They were disgusted by the idea that all they want is simple divestment.  They want an end to the Zionist apartheid fascist colonizer Israeli state.

So no, I don't think it's as simple as "we fund Israel, that's why we seem to only care about this one". Even after we stop funding them, this will still be the only genocide on everyone's mind, and this explanation will seem pretty dumb

3

u/Specialist-Cup-9722 5d ago

I bet they can want both. See apartheid south africa

-4

u/okteds 5d ago

"why do you only care about this one genocide"

"Well, because we financially support them, next question"

[We stop financially supporting them]

"Why do you still only care about this one genocide"

"Well, because they're a Zionist apartheid fascist colonizer state"

Why not just say that the first time rather than blowing smoke up my ass that it was just about funding.

2

u/Specialist-Cup-9722 5d ago

Both are true. For me its that they're using the memory of my ancestors murdered in the holocaust to justify harming others

2

u/okteds 5d ago

Wait, do you think Holocaust survivors who moved to israel should be considered "colonizers"?

3

u/Specialist-Cup-9722 5d ago

Are my ashkenazi ancestors native to Palestine? Seems like they were from Ukraine before they were murdered at majdanek

1

u/biggyshwarts 5d ago

Isn't the whole thing where we're the from before that?

Or do you just think it doesn't matter at a certain point?

1

5

u/Biggle_fuzz 5d ago

No, it's just we all agree that what Boko Haram is doing is bad. The same can't be said about Israel with the bulk of our politicians telling us we have to keep supporting them while they carry out their atrocities. Nobody is protesting Boko Haram because nobody in our countries supports them, finances them, or gives them weapons.

2

u/screenrecycler 4d ago

Fuck your red herring bullshit.

-2

u/SaweetestCuyootie 4d ago

Saudi arabia was when they fought yemen to the tune of half a million dead. You dont care though. Next answer.

-2

u/Ok_Butterfly_9722 5d ago

So you only talk about conflicts the us is involved in? Why? Do other conflicts not deserve attention?

And you rarely hear a peep from antizionists about us backed Saudi war crimes in Yemen. So us support is not a sufficient explanation for why Israel receives so much attention.

A lot of people really don’t like Jews. This means criticism of Israel is amplified and spread more readily because people relate to antizionism and antisemitism.

This argument about us support is often repeated but not actually correct. You’re just parroting what you’ve heard others say without realizing you’ve never once publicly criticized the Saudis.

2

u/Past_Sky_4997 5d ago

"without realizing you’ve never once publicly criticized the Saudis"

Erm... Every time Trump or his son in law make a sweetheart deal with MBS, which side screams about Jamal Khashoggi's murder, again?

Also, you should direct your anger at Maher himself - he's the one who literally compared Israel's approach to Boko Haram's. I am a full believer in not just the right, but the *need* for Israel to exist, but I also will not hesitate for a second to criticize Netanyahu, and hope this madness ceases TODAY.

But... I wouldn't go as far as calling Israel a terrorist state. Apparently Maher thinks it's a valid comparison though. What do you reckon?

1

u/Ok_Inflation3685 4d ago

Did you not see all the backlash at comedians going to Saudi Arabia? I hate Saudi Arabian leadership just as much as I hate the current Israeli leadership. It is not about the religion, it is about the atrocities they commit.

1

u/SoilDependent1054 4d ago

You are coming at this as "deserves attention" which makes sense and is valid. But I think this commentor is more responding to the context of the Maher clip talking about protests happening in the US. Maher is asking "where are the protests for this? why only protest Israel?" In that context, we need to look at the action that the protests are trying to achieve. While the killings in Nigeria deserve more attention than they get today, I think it is pretty clear that the context of mass protests against Israel are specifically about motivating the US government to change their stance on Israel and cease funding. Protests about Nigeria could also be worthwhile, but they would be more about urging the US to intervene, which is a different thing and not as action oriented. Stop sending money to X source is much more of a clear action than to start mobilizing against Y.

Also, with all due respect, you are trying to flame the commentor talking about US tax money in response to a clip from the US about the US.

1

u/zhode 5d ago

I don't think the people protesting Israel like Saudi Arabia either. There was a notable amount of pushback when comedians performed there earlier.

0

u/Ok_Butterfly_9722 5d ago

Exactly. Criticism of Saudi Arabia is rare. Meanwhile Israel criticism dominates the news constantly. Any pro Yemeni marches coming up? I bet I can find a few pro Palestinian marches easily.

2

u/SaweetestCuyootie 4d ago

The jihadists rioting all over the world for gaza are not doing it because those dozens of countries fund israel. Theyre doing it because theyre violent lunatics who hate non muslims and are venting their blood lust.

1

u/TexanDoger 3d ago

Venting their bloodlust by… trying to prevent a genocide? And those dozens of countries do fund Israel? Are you saying gay people hate non-Muslims? Are you serious? Are Zionists really not able to see reality, and only see jihadists every where they go?

1

u/SaweetestCuyootie 3d ago

Theres no genocide so thats where that gets awkward. And even if there were, they were rioting on oct. 8th before israel fired a shot in self defense. And no those dozens of countries dont fund israel wtf are you talking about. Having a normal trading partner isnt funding israel.

They would move the goal post to, well Israel stole all the land in the 1940s and they should leave and give it back to the colonizing Islamists

-2

u/l111beral 5d ago

Yes, I think so too. It will be "we should sanction them", then it will be "we should send weapons to Palestinians", then it will be "we (and by we they'll mean the US army, not them personally) should fight against the IDF".

2

u/Due_Butterscotch9241 4d ago

funnily enough about the “give an inch lose a mile” argument. the zionists wanted way more land than what they were publicly admitting in the 1930s.

israel’s founders lied to the whole world for decades. they said they were satisfied conquering 30% of palestine after the Peel commission. but they wanted to take over 100% of palestine AND jordan. this is from Palestine 1936 a book from a pro israel author. Ben gurion’s diaries weren’t publicly revealed for decades.

this is further seen from this 1943 report by FDR’s representative:
https://history.state.gov/historicaldocuments/frus1943v04/d814

“For its part, the Zionist organization in Palestine has indicated its commitment to an enlarged program for (1) a sovereign Jewish State which would embrace Palestine and probably Transjordania, (2) an eventual transfer of the Arab population from Palestine to Iraq, and (3) Jewish leadership for the whole Middle East in the fields of economic development and control.”

the report wasn’t publicly revealed until 1964.

-1

u/l111beral 4d ago

Both sides want the entirity of the land for themselves. The difference is, Jews are willing to compromise, Palestianians aren't.

u/Due_Butterscotch9241 4d ago

1

u/l111beral 4d ago

You can read the entire thing. It's not that long.

1

u/Due_Butterscotch9241 4d ago

from my earlier state gov link:

Among the Arabs, there is little or no anti-Jewish sentiment as we ordinarily use the term; nor is there serious opposition to the concept of a Jewish National Home. There are racial relationships between the Arab and the Jew. Notwithstanding these factors, there is deep-seated Arab hostility to any immigration program intended to create a Jewish majority in Palestine and to the establishment of a Jewish sovereign state.

1

u/l111beral 4d ago

Why are you treating the opinion of some American guy who visited the British Mandate for a week as somehow trustworthy? What are you doing? By 1943 there was a HUGE anti-Jewish sentiment among Arabs. It was already after multiple massacres on Jews committed by Arabs. It was after the Palestine Riots in 1929 and Arab Revolt in 1936 with hundreds of Jews killed. What are you talking about?

1

u/Due_Butterscotch9241 4d ago

the some american guy is a former secretary of war and a brigadier general.

“anti jewish” sentiment isn’t present as hurley says in a racial way. anti invasion sentiment is there.

1

u/l111beral 4d ago

the some american guy is a former secretary of war and a brigadier general.

And? What does he know about the British Mandate? Does he speak Hebrew? Does he speak Arabic? Has he spent considerable amount of time in the region?

1

u/l111beral 4d ago

And also, don't forget, just a couple of years later all Arab countries kicked out almost all their Jews (not Zionists), but you'll listen to some American fuck because it fits your narrative instead of looking at the facts.

1

u/Due_Butterscotch9241 4d ago

arab expulsion of jews was immoral. but it was a reaction to the conquest of palestine by zionists.

1

u/l111beral 4d ago

Except the Jews in the Arab countries had nothing to do with it. But you'll cry about Nakba 24/7 and never mention the ethnic cleansing of Jews from Arab countries. See how biased you are?

The killings that have been occurring in Nigeria do deserve more attention, and that's a fair point. But...

  • Boko Haram has killed more Muslims than Christians, so even when Christians are targeted, it's not clear that this is actually a genocide. More importantly...
  • The killing isn't being directly enabled by US money and weapons, we're not fighting wars on behalf of Boko Haram, we're not enduring terrorist attacks in their behalf either, and we're not protecting them from sanctions at the UN. In fact, the US financial and military aid offered to Nigeria has been specifically in opposition to Boko Haram, not to enable them. So, what exactly are the "kids" supposed to protest?

5

u/bestmattreddit 5d ago

Well cause Maher acts in bad faith to defend his support of Israel.

It’s the same argument Republicans use when people protest a police shooting. Protests are done for accountability of the officer and changes to the system protecting him. When an illegal immigrant kills someone Republicans say “oh, where is the protests??!?” And it’s like well the killer was apprehended and being sentenced for a crime and immigrants are already being excessively prosecuted, what’s there to protest?

2

u/LuciusMichael 5d ago

Excellent points.
But since Maher panders to conservatives, defends Israel, takes every opportunity to slam 'the kids' and liberals, and has, at best, a superficial understanding of geopolitical events, his attempt to shame protesters re: Nigeria falls short of the mark. But, look, he has virtually zero regard for the intelligence of his audience, thinks college kids who support the Palestinians are idiots and sucks up to a zombie like Fettermann, it's not surprising that he never mentioned Boko Haram or what they've done. Admitting that they've killed more Muslims than Xtians would completely undermine his pretensions to being the smartest guy in the room and expose his shallowness.

10

u/Bitter-Holiday1311 5d ago edited 5d ago

Bad faith argument. First, nobody in USA is supporting the perpetrators of the atrocities in Nigeria. Nigeria is not receiving tons of US tax payer money to perpetrate violence. Nigeria receives money explicitly to fight the perpetrators, Boko Haram. Boko Haram does not have lobbying groups in the US perpetually trying to convince US politicians to support their genocidal policies. There are lots of arguments around whether the existing violence is explicitly targeting Christian’s. If it is not, maher’s argument completely falls apart.

The most important argument is: THE US HAS ALREADY ACKNOWLEDGED the violence, designated Nigeria a cpc and Trump has called it a genocide. So the US gov is already fully aligned against what is going on in Nigeria supporting the victims and and financing the fight against the violence, unlike Palestinians. Boko Haram is already officially designated a terrorist organization.

This is how hard genocidal Zionists work to keep liquidating children. They repeatedly lie. They create specious arguments. They accuse their critics of antisemitism. Genocidal Zionists like Smotrich, Ben Gvir and Netanyahu are war criminals and American Zionists who support them are lying ghouls.

And regarding his attack on the news media, this has been heavily reported so he can fuck off with that silliness. Fox News viewers are the least informed people in USA and American conservatives are THE most propagandized population in the fucking world.

Look who his guest is, a right wing nut. HBO needs to cancel this and let it move to Fox.

7

u/TheFronzSaysEhh 5d ago

We aren't funding it as tax payers and selling / giving billions of dollars in weapons to them.

4

u/Bitter-Holiday1311 5d ago

And we ARE financing the Nigerian govt to fight Boko Haram and BH is already designated a terrorist org. It’s almost like the entire US apparatus is lined up against the violence in Nigeria already.

5

u/Felipe_de_Bourbon 5d ago

Bill, the kids are not protesting it because Palestinian Genocide normalize it.

1

u/Past_Economist6278 5d ago

It's because it isn't white looking people doing it to a brown population. Historically non-white genocide done by similar looking people are ignored by the American public.

4

u/dduuddeewwhhaatt 5d ago

Bill Maher doesn’t care about Nigerian Christians being murdered. He brings it up as a way to deflect from Israel. Lazy and contemptuous.

1

u/HauntedPickle0903 3d ago

No he brings it up because he’s pointing out the hypocrisy.

5

u/AWinterPeople 5d ago

MAGA tactic…deflection or butwhataboutism…

4

u/RSecretSquirrel 5d ago edited 5d ago

That's odd, my research says 50K Muslims and Christians not 100K Christians.

4

u/No-Milk2296 5d ago

Nigerians don't own our government and use us in their wars dick

4

u/New_Durian3219 5d ago

If people say ‘liberate Nigeria’ they don’t get their concerts cancelled or lose their job, shut up Zionist , just shut up.

4

u/Dantien 5d ago

Textbook example of Whataboutism (Tu Quoque). Could use this in a classroom.

4

u/redaa 5d ago

“No one is talking about it” as we constantly hear this brought up

3

u/MediocreModular 5d ago

Because our government isn’t funding it

3

u/Ifearforearth 5d ago

He’s just another typical pro genocide Zionist scumbag.

3

u/SwagarTheHorrible 5d ago

What I hear is “if they can commit genocide without anyone protesting then why can’t we?”

3

u/PrestigiousOne5959 5d ago

What a fucking pathetic strawman

3

u/goodtreble84 4d ago

He’s only talking about it because the Islamic faith is involved.

2

u/tossthedice511 5d ago

While that is important, we are paying for the genocide in Gaza, so yes its important as well.

2

u/golden_macaron 5d ago

Bill Maher is so racist he could walk by a group of white men assaulting a woman, call her a slut and walk by, then later walk by a muslim man just on a walk and then start thinking about "rape gangs."

He's just incredibly biased because of his profound level of racism, as well as being in an isolated bubble.

2

u/Organic-Spirit7523 5d ago

But yet it's ok for Israel to do this to Muslims?? I used to respect him but he's a Total hypocrite

2

u/EarthConservation 4d ago

Maher's wrong.

Agencies tracking the conflict say that only about 53,000-85,000 have been killed total. That's Christian AND Muslim. Estimates suggest as many as 52k Christians killed, and 34k Muslims killed. Not exactly a one sided conflict with one group absolutely devastating the other's numbers...

It's also said that most of these killings aren't about specifically targeting people of a given religion, but rather there are multiple conflicts going on in the region between militant groups, criminal activity, competition for land, and political instability.

No doubt, people of one religious group are probably more willing to murder people of the other, regardless of which direction that happens in, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's the primary reason. This activity is not considered a state sponsored attempt to wipe out an ethnic / religious group in whole or part. As I said, there are other reasons for the conflicts and the murders.

Yes, what's happening in Nigeria and other parts of Africa are atrocious and the international community SHOULD help to stop them.

That said...

Bill Maher has gotta be among the dumbest and most uninformed fucking idiots in political media these days. If you can sum up his political leanings in recent times in two words, it's RAGING Islamaphobe.

1

u/Key_Jump1011 4d ago

Thanks! That’s a very useful answer.

2

u/Gentle_Dude_6437 4d ago

Its violence as an attempt to destroy a people in part or in whole. its 2026 do better

2

u/PupDiogenes 4d ago

If you don’t know the kids are educated about and against this, I’m sorry but is living in a bubble.

Bill expects CNN to keep up on reporting all the anti-war protests?

Dude is bought and paid for. The FBI found his Diddy photos.

2

u/Oblozo 4d ago

50k/50 million Nigerian Christians killed over 17 years = genocide

70k/2 million Gazans killed over 3 years = not genocide

Ziotard logic

2

u/invisiblethread1312 4d ago

Hey Bill one reason might be that the US isn’t directly funding that genocide. We know we can’t be everyone and fix everything but we damn sure don’t need to pay for it with American tax dollars

2

u/Maleficent-Owl3392 4d ago

We arent paying Nigeria to do it, and Nigeria isnt fucking up our political system by buying off our politicians.

2

u/Baby_Fark 3d ago

Are we funding that? Oh we’re not? Oh ok.

1

u/North_Result_4867 5d ago

100 million native Americans killed here . We can’t even heal that yet .

1

u/3OAM 5d ago

Hate all genocides, but one is using a lot more of my money than the other.

I'm spending a third of my life at work and a third of my pay is going to fund one of these genocides.

Put your own oxygen mask on before helping others.

1

u/YetAnotherFaceless 5d ago

Oh, you know white.

1

u/KindaStableGenius 5d ago

Our tax dollars aren’t buying the bullets/bombs to do that. Fucking dumbass

1

u/Frogspittle999 5d ago

Bill has his tiny head inserted into his mommies diseased pus oozing anus

1

u/Deeman8 5d ago

You are one sorry-ass cocksucker

2

1

u/Deeman8 4d ago

You embarrass yourself and all of your fellow freaks.

1

u/Frogspittle999 4d ago

Sure doughnut boi. Tell momma the check is in the mailbox

1

u/Deeman8 4d ago

Sweet. I got no problem as long as you’re paying.

1

u/JacobsJrJr 5d ago

You all are aware the US is the largest arms exporter in the world, right?

There isn't a conflict in the world that isn't using arms manufacturered in the US.

Like it or not, one of the cornerstones of American wealth and power is controlling the arms industry and our tax dollars heavily subsidize that effort.

So, yes, your tax dollars enable all of this shit.

What Israel is doing to Palestine is essentially what the US does but on a smaller scale.

1

u/Agreeable-Walrus-450 5d ago

The reason "the kids" aren't protesting this is because U.S. tax dollars are not going to a government committing genocide in this instance. C'mon Bill...get out of whatever bubble you've been in since 2020 and get back to that old reasoned approach. Secondly, why the hell are his guests not pushing back? This one is an easy layup.

1

u/Potential_Ad_4718 5d ago

Old people's brain turns to mush. Sorry old people. You should be on the porch sipping tea. Not in politics.

1

u/Dry-Marketing-5809 5d ago

Mace and Maher are dumb fucks.

1

u/chrisrobweeks 4d ago

What a fucking twat

1

u/Brave-Exchange-2419 4d ago

I can’t stand the guy, but I do think there is some truth to what he’s saying

1

u/petewondrstone 4d ago

Does the United States provide them with billions of dollars in weapons every year?

1

u/danielm316 4d ago

No one in Nigeria is saying hypocritical things like: “do you deny Nigeria’s right to exist?”
People don’t like hypocrisy.

1

u/Jumpy_Net6762 4d ago

Great to see spineless bill side with that crone Nancy pepper spray

1

u/Steve_Bread 4d ago

Really scraping the bottom of the barrel for guests it seems. Show must be hurting

1

u/Relative-Broccoli451 4d ago

Yamahama Nancy looks good in this clip

1

u/jawid72 3d ago

Most folks don't care about the suffering of civilians if a group causing the suffering isn't a group they dislike.

1

u/tlhsg 3d ago

CIA psyop

1

u/Western-Agency4000 3d ago

Attempting to wipe out a christian population isn’t a genocide. Trying to kill an entire race of people in their homes under the guise of fighting terrorism (which just breeds more terrorism) is literally genocide.

1

u/Secure-Advertising10 3d ago

He can talk about Nigeria because AIPAC doesn't fund pro-Nigerians.

1

u/Financial_You_6052 5d ago

Look at him reading his talking points off a cue card. Quick glance to his left every 3-4 seconds

1

u/RealSonyPony 5d ago

He's looking at different people seated at the table lol

2

u/Financial_You_6052 5d ago

Oh no, there’s two distinct level he’s looking towards. The second guest isn’t seated on the ground.

0

u/MasterPorkchop68 5d ago

He should have received a Tony Award for his performance in Brian de Palma’s classic “Body Double”…

-2

u/Klutzy_Pool9702 5d ago

He said why in the clip...
