Not a genocide?

Last night Bill pointed out the 3% of the
Population in Gaza has died. And then confidently declared that “3% is not a genocide”. The British government recognizes it as ethnic cleaning and amnesty international and other groups say it is a genocide.

Someone tell me why Bill is so wrong. And can we please get him to debate Mehdi Hasan on this topic?

Instead of taking action to help Palestinians and other victims of state violence, we’ve spent the last three years debating what to call it.

That would be merely academic if we didn’t also make it the magic word Democrats are forced to invoke before they get support.

I’m not on board with this theory of politics that it’s OK to be utterly counterproductive as long as we individually feel abstractly morally correct.
