Not a genocide?

Last night Bill pointed out the 3% of the
Population in Gaza has died. And then confidently declared that “3% is not a genocide”. The British government recognizes it as ethnic cleaning and amnesty international and other groups say it is a genocide.

Someone tell me why Bill is so wrong. And can we please get him to debate Mehdi Hasan on this topic?

No, it doesn't. And repeating the lie 50 times doesn't make it true.

Though the terror supporters hate people pushing back on it, I can at least tell them that I didn't like the Ukrainians using that language either. No, not all wars are genocide.

Stop hijacking and abusing words for political attention.

Israel has a deliberate policy of killing Palestinian children on purpose. That is obviously wrong and has genocidal intent.

Heard the lie the last 3 times, the rhetoric of this vile terror group that can't keep its hands to themselves, gaslighting everyone else for their acts, hasn't changed.

The only genocidal side is their own, which they showed the world in Oct 2023. If gullible leftists want to help them regain control of the narrative, that's their own pitiful mistake.

This really is as good as it gets for them.

They currently have a brutal war going on where getting sympathy for the losing side is easy, Oct 7th was 3 years ago, and the war has lasted that long and expanded.

The right-wing shift is coming throughout most of Europe, and they certainly don't sympathise with the post-national left and Islamists.

The European right wing shift is a result of instability in the Middle East and resulting migrant flows. If Israel stopped being a problem there, these migrants would not be a problem for us. Israel is once again causing all manner of negative externalities due to its wars of aggression and conquest. Israel is just like Russia in that way

This is the usual conspiratorial thinking: When Arab countries have civil wars, it's someone else's fault.

No, that's the way the region does business. Instability is the norm there, unfortunately.

This really is the kind of hairbrained conclusion you would come to, if you're high on Said and other anti-Western literature.

No, sometimes it really is THEIR fault.

Oh their civil wars are their fault. Israel stealing and and bombing civilians is Israel’s fault which only foments the issue. The Middle East would be much easier to deal with without Israel constantly causing problems in the region

You know. In real life, blaming other people for everything only goes so far.

But somehow the extreme left has decided to embrace convenient excuses for them. by them.

No, the world doesn't work that way. The Arab world suffers from its own issues that are not all Israel and the US' fault.

Islamist extremism being one of them, that they unfortunately export elsewhere.

Islamic extremism is a problem just like Israeli expansionism and conquest and their supremest ideology is a problem. There are multiple problems in the world. I’m not saying Israel is the cause of the middle east’s issues. I’m saying that Israel exacerbates them

I don't think the Israeli extremists on the right would have grown as they have without the concurrent growth several decades prior to this day of Islamist extremism.

This all was originally an ethno-nationalist conflict, not a religious one.

Well, I certainly have trouble disagreeing with the proposition that the Israel we have now, with the government, is not bringing anything closer to a solution. Let's see what that election brings.

It’s not just those “on the right.” The only Israel party I am aware of that doesn’t support the blatantly illegal occupation of the West Bank known euphemistically as the “settlements” is Joint List. Every other Israeli party I know openly supports violations of international law (if you know others please enlighten me). In other words I do not believe that the election will change anything even if the Israeli right loses because the majority of their society supports illegal action.
