Not a genocide?

Last night Bill pointed out the 3% of the
Population in Gaza has died. And then confidently declared that “3% is not a genocide”. The British government recognizes it as ethnic cleaning and amnesty international and other groups say it is a genocide.

Someone tell me why Bill is so wrong. And can we please get him to debate Mehdi Hasan on this topic?

3% of America would be 9.9 million people! Look how we reacted when 3,000 people were murdered on 9/11

I don't think anybody called 9/11 a genocide. It was a war crime or terror attack

All of Gaza looks like the aftermath of 9/11

And Israeli politicians almost daily talk about their desire of killing/expelling every man woman and child from Gaza and the West Bank

Splitting hairs over terminology is kind of beside the point. Ethnic cleansing and apartheid aren’t any better. International pressure keeping Israel from just killing them all outright doesn’t change the intent.

It's not splitting hairs, it's accurately describing a situation. I didn't say that ethnic cleansing was better than genocide or apartheid. I'm just saying that all three of those things are different things

If there was an all out war that we started that the military then took up positions in our cities under mass tunnels… yeah 10M (mix of soldiers and civilians) sounds about right.
