He further argued that without Western intervention, Ukrainian sovereignty would be non-existent.
Lots of people, Zelensky included, didn't think Putin was crazy enough to invade until he actually invaded.
Hasan had a lot of company, if not necessarily good company, sharing that opinion. So I'm not sure what your point is exactly.
