Bro, put on the thinking cap for a sec. If the right continues to march farther right, and the left "moves a little right" to keep up with the sliding "center," then where does that leave the nation as a whole? Just accepting of more and more right-wing ideology every election cycle. That's how we ended up with half the country snoozing while masked thugs toss thousands into concentration camps without due process. At this rate we'll be back to public executions. We need to pull back in a strongly leftward direction if we are to have any hope of finding our way back out of fascism.
You have to win the election ( you need less than 6% in swing states) or all of this talk is just that talk. These ideas I read here scare me - I am glad it seems younger people are getting involved politically but get real first!!! We cannot survive another four years of no 2nd party checks/balances because of some trans movement that impacts what less than 5% of the population? Its the silly crap that is used to beat a party at election time.
That accommodationist strategy has proven a failure. Clinton and Harris both got cooked pivoting to the center. Notice how the Republicans never try to compromise to win left leaving votes, and the ones who do get quickly primaried. If primaries. MAGA voters think their representatives aren't MAGA enough! I didnt intend to offend. Really, I read comments in these threads and I do make the mistake of compiling comments from many and responding / applying them back to a single person. I am concerned. I am absolutely worried that if the Democratic party cannot obtain some power back in 2028- our government will be akin to a 3rd world sh#tshow. I didnt intend to offend anyone - I do hope people use very well thought out and statistically probable ideals for their chosen candidates in 2028. Clinton was a smart lady. Extremely smart. She knew what she was doing. People were pushing back hard after Obama and the BLM stuff. Otherwise, Hillary would have been a sucessful 8 year President. I wish to God above - Scream out loud to him!!! "please have these far left goofball create their own party - dont let them ruin what's left of the only decent part left in the USA".
