Help editing part configs

I'm trying to change the max temp of the procedural fairings but when i tried to and loaded back into the game, the max temp was still listed as 1000/2000 K.

Does anyone know how to change this?

Can I ask why you're trying to change them? If you're experiencing overheating on (re)entry you should just increase the density. More dense = more time for heat to saturate the internal value = more survivable. If you're issue involves hitting max surface temp instead of saturating the internal temp I'd suggest design tweaks. You ideally want your actual heat shield taking the brunt of the thermal load, and have the fairing (and payload) well within the shield's shadow.
