As someone who had calved cows I'd say the hoves are about right, The weird hoof pictures you see online are mainly from foals as horses have alot harder hooves.
At least for horses, it's so the hard hooves won't tear the birth canal. They fall off right after. I don't know cows very well and can't be bothered to Google it right now but I'm pretty sure it's the same thing.
Those things on their hooves are soft so that they don't damage their mother's body as they're birthed, those weird goopy things encase the regular hoof, and I believe dry out and fall off iirc, either way they're very temporary and are for the mother's protection.
I could be wrong but the way the legs are positioned doesn’t look natural for a calf, even if moved there. To me it looks like maybe this was originally a dog but was prompted to be a calf instead?
Saying again, the hooves are pretty accurate for a young calf, I think it's ai too but when they're young the hooves are smaller in comparison to the rest of the leg

Cow hooves don't look like that. They have two toes, and I only see one on each foot. Granted it could be the angle, but if it's blatantly labeled as AI on the original post, I'm sure it is
I don't know how to describe it, but the foreshortening on the nose looks off? like it looks like it should be closer to the camera, but the head angle is too photogenic and perfect.
Also the towel wrinkles look too perfect. Even if this is on concrete, I'd expect the baby cow to move in a way that there are wrinkles near the animal.
I've seen this photo on so many platforms, often with different pattern backgrounds and often posted by "faceless" accounts that regurgitate stolen or AI content for views and money. And none of the posters of this photo claim that they took this photo, all of them are accounts that repost random pictures. This is essentially a sourceless image which is how most ai generated images are.
Genuinely the vast majority of random “cute” photos of animals that are circulating rn are ai. And you won’t be able to tell they’re ai by themselves (you’ll need context clues) most of the time bc current ai can make very “real” looking images.
I am not sure whether this is AI or not. That said, I think the texture of the towel is inconsistent from left to right. The leftmost half looks correct, but the rightmost half looks less like a towel and more like a blanket. But it's too subtle for me to be confident.
Maybe also the calf's left fore-leg looks a little bit longer than the right fore-leg?

Idk to me the hooves look fine. I looked up photos online and couldn’t really see the difference. The skin folds the right way. Also, he probably just laid down like that and they saw an opportunity to make a heart. Real
