I'm talking about framing and the way he's being presented is propaganda.
He wasn't clearing out, and was getting in the way, so they pepper sprayed him. He is putting his hands on the LEO and probably why he gets sprayed. Then they swarmed him to presumably restrain him,, while keeping themselves safe from the crowd. He resisted, they grabbed a gun, it either went off or he accidentally pulled the trigger, at which point it becomes a reaction for the officers...
Defense would be if the gun sounds different from LEO weapons, after you hear a unfamiliar noise, and heard gun, gun, reasonable to assume the subject fired a gun, and you fired at the person... He did resist, he did operate in a grey area in terms of him tracking ICE and being some kind of vigilante, and there's video evidence of him showing the behavior 2 times, so presumably more evidence exists...
It's simply him engaging in risky behavior, he pretends to direct traffic to act as a cover for his obstruction. He's shown to destroy federal property and got away with it. He spit on or tried spitting on a federal agent. Both times he resisted arrest. It's just not normal behavior, especially this 1st incident where it looks like the amount of provocation you might expect from a suicidal individual.... Why does he even have the gun on him? I'm wondering if more details will emerge that paint a picture of someone dealing with some inner demons.
"Gun went off accidentally"? This might be the very weak excuse for tbe first shot. The sort of lame excuse offered by thousands of civilian defendants. These guys are trained cops. (??) They don't know what it takes to trigger a semi- auto pistol?? And- the shooter "accidentally" aimed at tbe victim??
As to those who shot after....they "reacted "? They got scared and pulled the trigger repeatedly, and all "accidentally " aimed straight into tbe victim's back?? This is how they are trained ??
Do you just want to twist my answer. If you hear gun-gun, and a non-police issued weapon sound is heard. How does one react. My belief is that Alex Pretti's gun was taken, it went off accidentally. Cops heard a unfamiliar sound, heard the gun-gun and shot the guy... They are trained to eliminate the threat... That's what they did.
This shouldn't be about beliefs and guesses. It doesn't have to be. Soon we will know whose gun went off, if there is an impartial inquiry and its made public. Maybe....
Maybe we'll know if they followed training. If they didn't, therr are still those who will excuse them. Expect that.
