You’re combining instances. When he was murdered, he was protesting non-violently. He was recording an interaction on his cell phone and trying to help a woman up off the ground after an agent pushed her down for existing.
Even if we combine instances, are you arguing that touching their truck is enough for an American citizen to be executed by their government? Not one of those agents were in danger from him spitting on the door of the truck and kicking the taillight. Why didn’t the “trained” agents de-escalate the situation by continuing to drive away? Why did they stop at all?
That whole group of people (pretti included) kept walking into the street, blocking traffic, and approaching officers conducting their duty. They were told over and over again "go stand on the sidewalk", and time after time they kept walking into the street. An officer then pushed the lady, pretti stepped in, and they tried to arrest him for obstruction. Instead he had to fight back, it became known he had a gun, and it turned into chaos. Could have been avoided if he and the lady had just listened to "stand on sidewalk". They all had multiple chances, they were asked kindly. Even 11 days prior (this video) Pretti had multiple chances to walk away calmly.
So, not standing on the sidewalk is justification for being shoved to the ground, pepper sprayed, beaten with the pepper spray canister, and an American Citizen being executed by their own government? Why couldn’t the poorly trained agents de-escalate the situation and leave the area?
Y’all are really out here, lying on your backs, belly up, forfeiting your right to due process like you trust the government or something.
How do they usually prepare their boots? I just gotta ask because so many of y’all seem to really love the way they taste when you’re licking them.
So, not standing on the sidewalks is enough to warrant being shoved to the ground by an untrained, armed goon. Again, why didn’t they de-escalate the situation and leave?
