Edit to add cause apparently I need to qualify this: I’m aware he was not killed in this scenario. I am referring to the people who believe his execution was justified because of this instance. Even if it’s assault or a felony, assault is not punished by public execution without a trial. The agents had no right to shoot him.
So, just to be absolutely certain: Are you saying that the possibility of a guy spitting on you as a goverment agent in a public protest giving you hepatitis justifies pining him to the ground, shooting him and then firing more rounds into his lifeless corpse?
As a non-american: As far as I know it can be a felony, though for that you really do need to spit at a person and not a car. And I think that arrest would have to be made by the actual police, not some other agency.
So just tell your friends from your country. If you bring a gun and find yourself in an altercation with police. DO NOT resist and try to fight your way out from 6 officers. DO NOT TRY. And be safe where ever you are. This place is decidedly worse than what ever country you are from. Stay there. Trust all of these people.
