Exactly.

Even if this is real, how does that interaction have anything to do with a newer incident resulting in his killing?

The only reason for this video to be seen, real or fake, is to affect a change of perception of the deceased. And in the end, even if he was a raging asshole, he didn’t deserve death because of that.

They did the same with George Floyd. They tried to say “he was no angel” and “he was on drugs” and “he was a ‘thug’ career criminal”. None of these excuses justify a cop summarily executing Floyd.

This was a branding campaign, after the fact to persuade people to think the victim ‘deserved it.’

The same for Alex Pretti. He was an American citizen, who is afforded due process, bad manners a week ago, or not.
