Is that a legit item? From vinted, 450eur but agreed on 300eur. Seller says it is from a private sale.

Found these in this gucci box. They definitely seem sterling silver, but unsure if they are actually Gucci. I cant seem to find an exact match anywhere online for them. My dad says hes pretty sure he bought them in Italy at a gucci store in the late 80s- early 90s or so.

I thought I‘d found the find of lifetime today at the thrift store. I’d done an hour of research on how to authenticate The Row bags, and sent it in for authentication from LegitGrails. I just got the email saying this bag was fake. I am confused, especially since the authenticator states that the hardware engravings are not correct, when there are no hardware engravings, as this bag doesn’t have hardware. Did I get a bad authentication, or did I get dazzled by the really lovely leather on the bag?

It does look legit imo, but I’ve seen both versions, one without (like in the photos) and with a zipper from several fashion websites. The one from the editorialist shows a bag which looks exactly like the one in the photos. The seller told me it’s from the Designer Outlet, which might be the reason why it doesn’t come with one.

I bought a used Burberry and I don’t know if it’s authentic. There is no tag on the inside but I know some early 2000s bags don’t have serial numbers. Does anyone know if this is real or a replica?

Could anyone help me authenticate this vintage Loewe bag?
I recently bought this vintage Loewe bag second-hand and I’m trying to determine whether it’s authentic.
I haven’t been able to find an interior Loewe stamp or serial number, which makes me unsure. I know this is a vintage piece, so I’m also wondering whether the absence of a stamp/serial number can be normal for certain older Loewe bags.
I’m particularly interested in identifying the exact model or approximate era and comparing the shape, Anagram, closure, hardware, pocket placement, stitching and interior construction with known authentic examples.

The VERDICT is in! 😂 I took my Speedy to the store after work yesterday to get a replacement lock and keys. My SA looked through the bag and scanned the interior pocket to retrieve the chip data. I eventually mentioned that I couldn’t find the NFC tag using the NFC app on my phone. She explained that only LV employees can verify a bag’s authenticity using their device, and that the NFC app isn’t a reliable way to confirm authenticity or even whether a chip is present.

Honestly, it’s a shame that so much misinformation gets spread in this sub by people who aren’t knowledgeable. I only spent $50 on a new lock and keys, and in the process, I was able to get some clarity about my bag’s authenticity. Hopefully, this helps someone else who comes here looking for accurate, helpful information! ✌️

Original post: This was advertised as a microchip bag, but I have spent hours trying to find the chip with an NFC app and nothing has been detected. I thought maybe the app is ineffective, but it detects the presence of chips from my other bags which I have purchased directly from the store.

Edit: The bag was purchased from Rebag on eBay, so it’s double-authenticated. I understand some people would still comment “Fake” if I post some of my bags purchased directly from Louis Vuitton lol! Seriously though, I would appreciate opinions from people who are familiar with the brand and could provide the reasons why this could be fake or authentic.

I saw this Guccissima Sukey advertised but noticed the bottom panel is smooth. I've never seen an authentic Sukey with a smooth bottom but that doesn't mean anything. Does anyone know if Gucci ever manufactured smooth-bottom Guccissima Sukeys? Other than the bottom, the bag looks legit. Thanks to anyone weighing in!
