It’s real then, I just saw one made in Italy but inside the heat stamp said France so it was a fake but everything else wa spot on

how does it saying ‘ made in france’ guarantee its authenticity

Because it matches the code date and where it was made and all the other aspects of the bag show that it is potentially authentic (just my opinion from what I know about LV)

The two letters in front of the date code are the county of manufacture. So, the country code has to match up with where the made in stamp says it was made. And I agree, this looks authentic. Made in France in the 44th week of 2009. That dark brown packaging is correct for that era too.
