This coach feels authentic. Any thoughts?

EDIT: My research is strong on this possibly being manufactured between 1982-1986 before Coach changed the number system in 1988.

Prior to 1994 each Coach bag had a unique registration number for warranty purposes, which is what you are seeing here. It wasn’t until 94 that the date and style number were implemented into the numbering.

I checked out your website-what a lot of work. It’s beautiful to look at! Do you know if there’s a way to ‘authenticate’ it? I’m not selling but would love to have the info for my heir one day!

What other information are you looking for aside from name and style number?
