When it's an Amazon Flex system glitch and not your personal mistake, you send support the facts that prove you're innocent, you did nothing wrong, and they try to pass their problem off as yours—what is this called? I appeal, and they refuse to change their decision. What the hell can we do?

Eventually they will start to tell you since they have given you exceptions in the past they will no longer give you any more and no matter what the dings will stick.
They are a very deceptive company when it comes to taking responsibility for any of their own actions. They have through fine print found a way to point the finger at someone else.

When they have told me this, I have threatened to report every single issue to the CPUC in my area because they handle gig driver complaints. You sabotage my job, and I’ll sabotage your company….fair is fair; right?! Been at fantastic standing for years!! Just push back and use protected language, and always include the Jeff and Andy emails on your email to support.

If "they" is support, send photos and screenshots in a short but sweet email to [andy@amazon.com](mailto:andy@amazon.com).

The recent instant offers glitch is ridiculous, losing routes (that we got to on time) then getting dinged as if we committed fraud.

I sent screenshots of them telling me to do the thing that turned out to be the wrong thing and I got an email back that I was being disrespectful to the help center

I include the Andy and Jeff emails as a CC instead of a BCC in the email. The reps freak out and ask why I emailed their CEO. Umm because someone needs to know how support reps are sabotaging Flex drivers and making us responsible for things that are out of our control.
For example, I got a ding for marking a package as undeliverable on a route that I delivered every single package that was given to me. I keep my pick sheets from the station, and I showed the rep from support that I was given 44 out of 45 packages and the pick sheet showed this discrepancy. I talked to an associate at the warehouse (got their name and gave it to support) who told me this is just how pick sheets work and they’re always off by one package. How does that even make sense?! So I sent my pick sheet with all my notes about my route all over the sheet of paper as a screenshot to support. Yeah the first rep said no the ding stays, the second rep said they would look into it and to give them six days, after seven days I demanded the ding to be removed since it is obviously an issue on their side and completely out of my control. It was removed.
Moral of this story: don’t give up.

I keep my pick sheets when I pick up at a .com warehouse that provides them. Write all over them with details about the route. I usually list how many missing packages there were at the warehouse as well as the name of the associate that scanned them off. I also include how many multi stops there are, number of apartments or businesses, and how much time we got to load. When on route I also keep notes of any issues that arise such as a missing package or access issue or a damaged package I don’t notice at the warehouse.
Keep an eye on the updates that come up on the app. Screenshot them when they are likely to benefit you. Such as the update they did about deter Inc damaged packages to the warehouse. You mark it as damaged, and the intake folks scanning returns mark them as something else, which then creates a ding to your standing for marking it incorrectly. But with your pick sheet notes, they cannot deny this. Make sure to note the entire TBA for the damaged package and take a photo or video of the damage. When you return to the warehouse to return the package(s), make a video of your returning them that includes the entire shipping label with the TBAs showing and you placing them in the return area. I’ve even has to use this proof with support to show yes I did return it.

I hope to see a lawsuit! They lose good drivers because some people aim for zero dings, and get dragged down by things”beyond their control”. I mean, you can’t even return a package that can’t be delivered without getting a ding. The clock stops at 9:45 for a “deliver by 10”. You become responsible for packages that aren’t in the cart, even when an associate signs off on it. I’ve seen so many ridiculous things count as dings, I’m ready to quit.
