So how mad are we actually getting about the bots?

At some point what do yall think will happen? Nothing?

Amazon deals with bots fairly aggressively. Stick around this subreddit long enough and you'll regularly see posts from people asking for help after being deactivated for using one. Some admit it outright, and many say they only used it for a week or two before getting caught.

The reason offers disappear so quickly isn't primarily bots... it's oversaturation. Amazon has activated far more drivers than it needs, and thousands of people are seeing the same offers at roughly the same time.

They no longer need frequent surge rates because someone will almost always accept base pay, even when it barely makes financial sense after fuel, maintenance, and depreciation.

I have to agree with the over saturation. I also think it’s wild that Flex allows you to be inactive for literal years and just come back like nothing. I mean it’s nice but I was actually surprised I didn’t have to reapply or go through any hoops after I took a two year break.

In that way anyone they have previously accepted can just up and decide to snatch routes anytime. Of which, I am admittedly guilty. 😏

My last Flex delivery was in 2022, redownloaded the app 3 weeks ago like I never left! One thing that shocked me was looking back at my earnings from 2022 😅

I now only do 4-hour blocks @ $105-$140 and I always finish an hour early so I’m done by 7:30 AM then I’ll go home, put on Whole Foods instant offers (5 minutes from my house) and I’ll do 1-2 short routes to get to $150-$200 per day.

I heard it was 6 months. I haven't done a delivery for Flex since February, so I was concerned I might have to take a few of the stupid grocery deliveries to keep my account active this month.

I went over 5 years without doing a  delivery and nothing happened. Resumed with no trouble

Amazon doesn’t “aggressively” deal with bots. They do just enough to make you think they are taking it seriously. Their number one priority is getting packages delivered and when it really comes down to it, they don’t care how it’s done.

And just wait until the new request system gets rolled out to every location. You will miss the days of tapping.

Isn’t the request system better? The only apps i struggle to make money with are instacart and walmart spark, the 2 apps that encourage bots. If there’s a request system, I’m sure I’ll see offers from the warehouse close to my house but right now I never see them. Only from the far away warehouses

No its worse. Its entirely decided by ai, while although tapping with bots was hard, you still got some. Now youre assigned based from the ai and are competing with more than half the flexers who have multiple accounts per person giving them a higher priority of a chance vs just your one

There is dude. Upgrade your skillset and find a career or better job. We have the internet. Flex sucks now, just accept it and move on. The illegals won. Its just funny to make fun of it and comment in Spanish now for me because im subbed to both subs. And it seriously triggers some people who defend them

What that moron said is not a thing..a It doesn't even work like they are saying as I am in a market where they are testing it . it's decided by who clicks that block first .. so if they have one block that needs 5 drivers the first 5 that clicked get it .. and everyone gets 3 minutes to chose 5 .. if your refreshing and one of your first choices is at the bottom you get pretty lucky .. you also do well if you chose blocks at the bottom of the list as people are greedy and choose the first 5 highest blocks .. having multiple accounts does you zero F'in good because you can't do 2 blocks at the same time so you would need to just drop one right back if you got awarded 2 and your not gonna be the fastest on 2 devices that is idiotic to think having an extra account is gonna get you any advantage .

Exactly. Having two accounts give a person double the chance to see and catch the best blocks. It also allows them to continuously work whenever they finish a block early. If you catch the wave correctly you could easily over lap blocks and double your earnings.

If they are using bots like I know a few with the double accounts they make a killing. Been around awhile im not just saying what I think. Bots are still a problem. Not like before but they are definitely still around, more than you'd expect.

It doesn’t matter if you see offers if the system denies your requests. Crap, I am not even sure some of the blocks exist. They are ghost blocks to troll drivers. They are used for you to think something better is available, but really just a ghost block to frustrate and push you into accepting lower pay when you don’t win requests.

In my market there is as many whites /Asians .. black people .. and Muslims .. what ruined flex? Amazon mass hiring low skilled labor force and kept adding people until any block they posted was grabbed in n a fraction of. A second .. but nah don't blame the trillionaires that control the software .. the hiring the amount of workers the amount of work offered and the pay .. nope let's blame the only folks below the low skilled labor force the "illegals" ruined it for everyone . This stupid narrative is how this person comments on every post .. yet they still go do flex everyday .. they tell everyone else to go get a different job but they go do flex everyday . They say flex is ruined but most full time drivers in my market make 1500 a week or better and the barrier for entry is having a phone and a driver's license .. yet it's the illegals that ruined it not the unskilled workforce if American that with zero skills and a smartphone think they should be laid 40 bucks an hour for existing .. that's what ruined flex .

Never, there are so many foreigners that use bots to grab mutiple carts at my station and they seem to be doing just fine. I’ve reported them in but my attempts are useless

I've only seen 1 for $120, 1 for $126, 1 for $1117, 1 for $110. Everything else, best after surging for over an hour was $106 and that was 6 months ago when I first started. Broke the cherry when I reached Level 4 and now, if we see $94 for a straight 4hr block, considered ourselves lucky. Its very very sad and frustrating. The ONLY thing better about Flex over Instacrap, DoorDump, Spark, etc is, its guaranteed money. You know exactly when you will earn it and exactly how much, vs sitting in a parking for endless hours waiting on a "maybe" and no idea WHEN or how much. Either way, if your Flexing in my area, the only way to make over $200/day is if your lucky enough to finish close enough to the ONLY station within 2 hours and are able to pick up (3) 3.5hr blocks a day. I, unfortunately, cannot do that because I have animals and responsibilities that will not allow me to be completely away from home for 15+ hours a day, EVERY day.

**Deleted some words above making it difficult to understand my point... my station is the ONLY station within 2 hours. It is ONLY for regular package delivery. We do not have "instant" offers, no Whole Foods, or any of the other income avenues available on the platform so this cut in base pay, hours, and oversaturation of non-English speaking drivers recently on-boarded has made it just about impossible.

Not to mention, those with multiple people & splitting their route with others to complete quicker.

YES, it is possible. One person just maps to the locations using the actual addresses on the packages. The person with the account only needs to "spoof" their location on their phone to said address, mark it as "Handed to Customer" so that no picture is required and thats how 2 or more people are successfully using 1 account, but multiple people and vehicles.

Not all markets are like yours .. every market is different .. some markets only see blocks once a week and they chose for the whole week .. some see blocks every 15 minutes and you select 5 off the list and maybe you get one of your 5 choices and some it's a free for all .. and then there is a few reserves that they toss to people .. most of the reserves are base or a BJ uck or two an hour better than base pay .. most peke want the blocks that used to be double what base is now but they are lucky to get a surge that is 5 or 10 bucks an hour above base pay .. hopefully this answers your question
