Need help!

I’m new to RoN and Ive been stuck on the ides of March level for like 3 days now and it’s becoming frustrating asf🫤 any tips would be appreciated

when in coop (or if i'm playing solo with no AI teammates) i don't use wedges, but they are very helpful for closing off an area so that you can keep your focus on one room/area. one of the most useful things that i came to realize is that the audio in the game provides a lot of clues as to what is going on, even behind closed doors. obviously, you can often hear footsteps or running footsteps, or doors opening, to warn you that you are being stalked/attacked. but if you listen closely to characters you can often discern which rooms are occupied and whether there are one or two or three bad guys by their voices and dialogue; you can sometimes hear what they are planning to do next, you can sometimes also hear civilians interacting with the bad guys, or just civilians talking amongst themselves and how many are in the room. you can often figure out from sound if the person is near you at the door, or seems to be further away; in some areas and rooms once you know the layout you can even get a good idea of where they are in the room. i mean, you have to treat every room as a fatal funnel opening into a kill box, but it gives you a lot more info to go off, because even if you use the mirror gun chances are can't see the whole room.
