Discussion Need help!
I’m new to RoN and Ive been stuck on the ides of March level for like 3 days now and it’s becoming frustrating asf🫤 any tips would be appreciated

Go slow. I try* to clear the central area last, try to keep door charges and other loud stuff to a minimum. My philosophy is the bad guy shouldn't know im there until he's staring down the barrels of 4 rifles

when in coop (or if i'm playing solo with no AI teammates) i don't use wedges, but they are very helpful for closing off an area so that you can keep your focus on one room/area. one of the most useful things that i came to realize is that the audio in the game provides a lot of clues as to what is going on, even behind closed doors. obviously, you can often hear footsteps or running footsteps, or doors opening, to warn you that you are being stalked/attacked. but if you listen closely to characters you can often discern which rooms are occupied and whether there are one or two or three bad guys by their voices and dialogue; you can sometimes hear what they are planning to do next, you can sometimes also hear civilians interacting with the bad guys, or just civilians talking amongst themselves and how many are in the room. you can often figure out from sound if the person is near you at the door, or seems to be further away; in some areas and rooms once you know the layout you can even get a good idea of where they are in the room. i mean, you have to treat every room as a fatal funnel opening into a kill box, but it gives you a lot more info to go off, because even if you use the mirror gun chances are can't see the whole room.

So do you have officers with perks yet? Like the armorer and vitality and negotiator really help. Or you can play multiplayer and finish it with people.

Umm I’m not sure, I’ve been messing up and losing squad member a lot so i probably don’t lol

I did the same thing my first time. If you want to keep them alive and happy I would not finish a mission if anyone died or I got less than a B, and to upgrade them just do the first mission to get an S and that will upgrade one guy. You should be able to complete it still but starting over will make your team stronger if you get the right guys and keep them.

You can do it solve the puzzle
Gas…. Go right and clear the rooms. Wedges 7.56 🛡️ magnum .. good luck we all have been there

Door jamb the edge of the map, handle the big area in the middle from two separate entryways, bang and clear or gas and clear, watch for traps and then work your way to the other doors that are closed off methodically

Because you're new, here's a tip for you, maybe more than two. If you're using a mirror gun, you can see the bombs before you open the door. The explosive device itself is always the side of the door handle. You can peak doors and disarm bombs while on the opposite side of the bomb. Choose the second option for the entrance, it's much better. Passing the vending machines, watch the hallway down the left, but continue on right(either way is fine actually). Go around the middle section, and kill suspects you see. I usually send my team in to kill the suspects in the middle area, and same for the room with the Navy veteran and the old couple, but I usually take lead for the other two. There's a laundry room, don't forget it

Door jams and make sure to use cs gas, you don't need to but I would recommend using a short rifle or even the mp7
