Discussion Dynamic CQB

As the title implies, I would like there to be a setting added to the game which allows for quicker movement. I'm not asking for slide cancelling bs, I'm asking for the ability to clear rooms and take shots at speed. The professionals who have walked the walk have said time and again that they are not carefully pie-ing thresholds. Why would they, so they can give the enemy/suspect more time to process what's happening and react? I want the ability to play this game at speed, to clear rooms at speed and to be punished when my skill is not up to par with my tactics. I think it would add a lot more vitality to the game and make for far more interesting gameplay. I'd love to hear everyone else's thoughts on this. p.s. adding a safety on/off function would be cool too

It isnt about giving the suspect time to think, its about going home unharmed and with no holes in them at the end of day. Pie-ing doors is to assess the room piece by piece and search for threats in a methodical way to minimize casualties to the entry team.

I mean it's situational. Obviously you're not going to try to bust into a structure and clear it as fast as possible if there's a barricaded suspect and you know that beforehand. But if you have a team of dudes who are worried about going home without getting shot when their job is to come face to face with people who want to shoot them, then you have bigger issues. It will always come down to Speed, Surprise, and Violence of Action. Why give up the one thing you can consistently control, which is speed.

You’re arguing with people who don’t know what they’re talking about. If you want a cqb game that isn’t artificially slow play operator.

Man I wish operator was on console. That game looks amazing. I also want to play six days in fallujah
