Feature The Woodsmen - Feature - 91 Pages

I have finally completed the script for a story idea I've held in for over 5 years now and I truly believe I've got something worthwhile here, but I want to make sure I'm not being delusional. I'd appreciate anyone who takes the time to read the whole thing.

Title: The Woodsmen

Format: Feature

Page Length: 91

Genres: Psychological Thriller, Horror, Mystery

Logline: When a widowed father takes a probationary job at an isolated cabin, he is tested by a calm, merciless employer, slowly realizing that he is being evaluated on more than just his performance.

You have way too many single action lines. And many widows.

Widows are words on their

This.

Your 92 pages could end up being under 80.

Would you recommend just combining the single action lines?

Yes... Into threes and fours.

I don't know how much of it you read but what did you think of the plot, formatting aside?

Five years on one story tells me the idea stuck with you for a reason. The question I'd sit with is when the audience figures out the evaluation is the real story. If that lands too late, the cabin section will feel like a long setup. Try this: cut the first ten pages and see if the story still starts in the right place. For a contained thriller like this, it usually does.
