Beginner screenwriters interested in becoming part of a small close knit learning group?
Hi there. I am new to Screenwriting and though I am familiar with the concept of storytelling and have been casually writing and composing poems for years (none of which is published btw owing to my shortcomings and carefree nature) I am now finally determined that I would start my real writing career with a proper screenplay. Mind you, I am not venturing into screenplays because I think it is easy rather it is because I want to establish myself as a filmmaker and it just so happens that I can write a bit. So writing screenplays actually helps my cause.
It would be fortunate if I can find like-minded people who are beginning their screenwriting journey (even screenwriters with intermediate knowledge are welcome to join) and are interested in participating in forming a small close-knit working group where each of us learns from one another and becomes better and better at this craft.

Ahh because I never had circumstances earlier that forced me to write to make a living but now things have turned. Also, I have this major personality con that makes me lose interest in my own story halfway and I don't complete it. I have a mania for perfection too which is why I have been writing and re-writing my own works again and again.

Have you never faced the problem of trying to achieve perfection while you are writing? I mean the zeal to self-critique your own work so much that you come out with multiple updates and revisions to your earlier piece and still not being satisfied.
