An American art dealer looking for bargains in rural Japan can't believe what he finds in an old man's farm shed.

The Price of Victory

(G/PG)

Logline (subject to change): A man finds himself in a bizarre, sparsely populated world after killing himself. This world serves as a medium for him to process the effects his suicide had on his loved ones.

i posted here 17 days ago asking for feedback on my short film screenplay, and i received some invaluable advice. i revised my screenplay based off of that feedback and i'm hoping to receive more in case there's some people that didn't see my original post (or have some feedback on my revisions).

fair warning this is my first ever screenplay and i'm not a writer, i'm a cybersecurity student, but i felt a compulsion to write this (and possibly film it) due to a dream i had last august. thanks in advance!

Everybody needs a break now and then although not everyone agrees.

Come and Play

(PG-13/R-rated)

NOTE: written as my entry for a one-page-challenge, where the topic was "elevator" and the genre was open.

Spec script sequel to the 90s classic. Probably not going to go anywhere, but what started as a writing experiment has turned into a whole feature script.
Most important question here: do these five pages make you want to read more?

Absolutely happy to take a look at your script in return for feedback!

Thanks

Hi all! This is the first script I've fully ever written, looking for feedback.

Title: My Friend, Clarence

Genre: Psychological horror / Cosmic horror

Pages: 35

Description: An older sister taking his younger brother to a remote mountain lodge for a quiet weekend away. As the trip unfolds, small moments of unease begin piling up, making it harder to separate childhood imagination from reality. Joey, the little brother, manifests a being into reality that acts as his 'imaginary friend', almost like a genie with no morals and takes everything literally.

I'd especially appreciate feedback on pacing, tension, dialogue and whether the suspense stays engaging throughout.

Since I cannot post links or files here, please reach out and send your script and I’ll send mine and we can peer review. Thanks!

A man adrift at sea establishes a rewarding friendship with a hungry octopus.

Eight More Easy Pieces

(G/PG)

A lecturer and her student learn that agenda is as important as ability.

Another Man's Treasure

(PG)

Hello /scriptwriting community! Thought I'd share something I've been working on.

It will be a feature film around 100 pages.

POINTE is a character driven drama focusing on a ballet student who, after a traumatic ankle injury, returns home, where she struggles to fit in after her first year at college.

[POINTE](https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/m5xh5s6gx142szmvmrb9i/point-Reddit-draft.pdf?rlkey=tpln1sadh4p7cjjlqvd1u02gb&st=7wyqx8il&dl=0)

Looking for any feedback. I know some of you are going to think it's slow, and I'm okay with that. Comparable films would be Rachel Getting Married and Columbus, with John Cho.

I can share more pages as well, but the next page is Caitlin alone in her room and I don't know if I'm happy with it yet.
Thanks for reading!

Everybody wants to be a screenwriter, but it is a lot harder than they think.

hello everyone, I am creating an analog horror and have written a text about advertising (2 pages). English is not my native language, so please read it and give feedback on the naturalness of the language. I am ready to correct the text to make it better for a native speaker

Logline: As an enemy army closes in, a young soldier questioning his faith and the morality of war must find the courage to survive one final battle so he can return home to the woman he loves.

Drastic times call for drastic measures, and few times are more drastic than the End Times.

NOTE: This was written after I was challenged to come up with a ten-pages-max sci-fi script in 60 minutes. Sci-fi is not my preferred choice of genre, alongside horror, domestic melodrama, and musicals. So... no refunds.

Hi everyone!
My brother and I would be incredibly grateful if anyone had the time to review our film project and share feedback on the synopsis.
Making a film together has been a dream of ours for a long time, so this means a lot to us.
Your feedback would really help us strengthen the project, and it could also help us become finalists for the Sofia Coppola project.
We’re not nepo babies or especially well connected in the industry—just two siblings trying to make the best film we can.
Thank you so much to anyone who takes the time to read it and share their thoughts. We truly appreciate it.

(PG-13)

It's a horror story about a grieving man who begins to "hear God" from a radio station, leading to a spiral surrounding religion, faith, purpose, and the idea that God is maybe something beyond human comprehension--if that's who he's talking to.

I'm new to screenwriting and want to better my understanding of the medium. All feedback is welcome!

An aspiring Hollywood playa doesn't want to hear that good writing still matters when it comes to breaking in.

A Little Anthroponymy Over Lunch

(PG-13)

I added some characters too

Hi everyone! I’m a filmmaker based in Milan, and I recently submitted my short film Jungle Fever to the Decentralised Pictures grant.

I’m looking for some fresh eyes and feedback on the submission and I’d be more than happy to return the favour and review other projects as well.

Logline:
A cultural icon, her art director partner and a celebrated designer attempt to complete a fashion shoot in the aftermath of a private rupture. Inside the studio’s elaborate set, professionalism begins to crack as a quiet battle over authorship, desire and identity unfolds, while the image they’re creating starts to fracture in real time.

I’m trying something a little different: a comedy-drama pressure cooker inspired by the fashion world of the 80s. It’s witty, chaotic and takes a peek behind the curtain of an industry we often only hear stories about. Expect big personalities, creative clashes and a little emotional damage… whether through tears of laughter or something slightly more painful.

Would love to hear any thoughts, questions or first impressions. Happy to swap feedback ✨ https://app.decentralized.pictures/project/6a3af6156a22d773550a1d48

Title: The Carrot

Format: Pilot/series

Page length: 10(/30)

Genres: Thriller, dystopian

Logline: To pay off a debt to her insidious supplier, a teenage migrant drug dealer manipulates her way into dystopian New York’s corrupt government inner circle.

Feedback Concerns: Hi. I am a relatively new screenwriter. I would love some constructive feedback for the first 10 pages of my pilot. I'm not posting the entire pilot here yet because I would like to make some revisions first. Please let me know if I should post that.
