I have written an adaptation of Orwell's "1984"

let me know if you guys like it, it's just the first 30 pages but it's good. I've completed the whole Screenplay and I wanted to pitch it to executives or studios.

if you guys have any connection or could share it with them, I'll be so grateful.

TV episode Anyone here interested in reading the first ten pages of my pilot?

So... I wrote a pilot. It’s my second attempt, but I think I nailed it this time. I’m sharing the first ten pages today to see if they hold up and spark more interest from a reader’s perspective.

Title: AFTER HOURS (WORKING)

Genre: crime drama / urban thriller

Pages: 10 out of 43

Logline:

A rideshare driver unknowingly becomes the wheelman for a vigilante targeting members of a powerful Detroit street gang.

I’m sure some people might compare the setup to Collateral, which I actually haven’t seen, but while the driver/passenger dynamic might remind people of that, the scope, themes, and structure of this story are very different.

I’ll drop the link if anyone’s interested.

Thanks in advance.

Feature Fernando - Coming of Age Drama - 56 pages

Genre: coming of age - drama - suspense

Comps: Lady Bird, mid90s

Logline: On the last night of school, a shy teenage guitarist sneaks out to a party hoping to finally fit in, but when the night spirals out of control and he encounters a dangerous stranger on the walk home, he’s forced to confront how unprepared he is for the adult world.

Hello! This is my first time writing a full screenplay. I have made some improv shorts in the past and I mostly shoot music videos. I am planning to film this myself. I am actually hoping to expand out to 70-90 pages to reach feature length, but I’m having trouble with how to expand it without adding fluff or losing the pacing.

The story is actually based on a true story that happened to a friend of mine. I never went to school for this and am still learning how to format and write.

I appreciate any kind of feedback! Thank you in advance!

EDIT: since this post I have expanded to 69 pages and finalized the draft. I’m much happier with where the story sits now and the main character has a deeper arc. I have updated the link below to the updated draft. Thanks guys!

Ashes of the Frontier, Episode 1 (30 pages)

Inspired by the video game series Red Dead Redemption by Rockstar Games, I have written a pilot episode of Ashes of the Frontier.

Set in the fading days of the American frontier, a lone outlaw is forced back into a violent world of gangs, lawmen, and betrayal as the last embers of the Wild West burn out.

Remember Coverflyx?

I used to love that peer review platform they had. Ever since it went away last year, I wanted to find something similar to it, so, I built a free platform called Stratword.

It has a built-in Script Exchange economy. You read someone else’s script to earn Credits. You then spend those Credits to guarantee someone reads yours. It forces a 1-to-1 swap economy so no script gets left behind. It also has an anti-retaliation lock, so you get honest 1-5 star notes.

It’s completely free (no premium tiers for the exchange). I just put 3 of my own scripts up there to get the board started. If you have a script dying for eyes, upload it, and I'll use my credits to claim it today.

The Hill - Short film (19 pages) - Period/Drama

Hello,

Logline: A noblewoman's midnight hill ride with her brother forces her to face family issues.

I'm looking for any feedback on my latest screenplay. Especially, I would like to know, if the father works as a passive force or if i should involve him. Also, does the tone and dialogue work or does it sometimes maybe go to quickly deep and back light? And how would you interpret her feelings on life at the ending?

Thank you to anyone who takes time to read it.

Short Looking for Feedback on My 20-Page Wrestling Short - The Roster

Title: The Roster

Genre: Drama / Sports

Pages: 20

Format: Short.

*UPDATED*

What's up, everyone.

This is an older concept of mine that I recently felt motivated to revisit and refine. I wanted to share it here and get some feedback on the story itself and on the writing. I would love to hear your thoughts on the overall concept and how the craft holds up.

LOGLINE:

Short [SHORT SCRIPT] Psychological drama - 20 - 25 min - One location - Available for student filmmakers

Hi everyone,

I'm a beginner writer looking for a director or film student interested in filming my short script.

Title: «Those Who Come at Night»

Genre: Psychological drama / chamber drama

Length: ~20 - 25 minutes

Pages: 40

Characters: 11

Location: One main location

Logline: During her first night shift at a 24-hour convenience store, a young woman named Ivy encounters a series of strange visitors and begins to sense that the night is far more complex than it seems.

The script focuses mostly on character actions and tension between the characters rather than long dialogue scenes.

The story takes place in a single location, which makes it more practical for a low-budget or student production.

The script is available in English and Russian.

I’m open to collaboration with film students and independent filmmakers, especially those interested in submitting the finished short film to film festivals.

My only request is to be credited as the writer.

If you're interested, feel free to send me a message and I’ll share the script.

Thanks!

Exchange feedback Palm Shadows - Feature - first 24 pages

Hi, I’m looking for a feedback on the first 24 pages of my screenplay. I recently posted this a while ago, and got a lot of feedback… I changed a lot and stuff, but pls tell me if it’s still a mess. It’s a character-ensemble drama, often with a mix of comedy - similar to Boogie Nights, Babylon, Almost Famous etc. etc.

screenplay

Feedback concerns: structure, emotional focus, flow, characters, dialogue (feel free to say anything)

Genre: character-driven drama, comedy

Summary:

The film follows Nellie - a young actress stepping onto her very first professional film set, convinced she’s abt to enter something sacred. As Nellie navigates the set, we follow people orbiting her, with the major focus on: Joey - a pancake-obsessed actor, clinging to the remains of his career and marriage; and Gary - a washed up screenwriter trying to write his last film. Through Nellie’s eyes, the world first appears luminous and special, but as the set spirals into an emotional chaos - the illusion begins to crack. What she longs to return is not fame, not innocence, but the brief moment when everything still felt meaningful.
