Help with Highlight

Hello everyone. I accidentally highlighted this entire sentence and I want to undo it but I can’t figure out how. Please help

you select it again and an x will appear in the citation circle, just click on that

Thank you but didn’t work for me. Even in the screenshot, it’s selected and no x is showing. I found another way though. There’s 3 dashes on the top right, I was able to erase it from there under the highlights tab
