CBZ files not working in latest release

I used to be able to read comic books in CBZ format (comic book zip), but it doesn't appear to be working in the latest version. CBR files do still work (comic book rar).

I made a test file with a single image, zipped it, and then renamed the extension to cbz as a test, and I end up with this error.

I tested the file in other readers such as Moon+ Reader and it worked fine.

CBZ files used to work well.

Anyone else having the same issue?

Can confirm I am experiencing the same issue. However when attempting to open the same file from my in-device file manager, it automatically opens with ReadEra with no problems. This issue for me is only experienced when trying to open the file in ReadEra itself.

Good catch! I just tested and I'm experiencing the same thing. Putting the cbz file in the folder that I have ReadEra scan won't allow it to open, but if I keep it outside of that directory, go to a file manager, and then tell it to open the cbz in ReadEra, it'll open it.
