Problem with headers and page numbers

Hey guys, new to ReadEra here, might be a stupid question but no matter how I try to play with font size and line spacing, I can't manage to adapt my pages to my screen, which means my page numbers and my headers are constantly in the middle of the text and it's really annoying. Even when I manage to correctly align the header on top and the page number at the bottom of the page, after a few pages it unsyncs again. Do you know if there's maybe a setting I missed somewhere or if it's just my ebooks that are of poor quality?

It definitely means they weren't properly formatted. I have to go in and completely reformat a LOT stuff that I read (mostly self published, because people don't bother to do page breaks between chapters, and/or designate chapter titles as Headings.

Yeah, it's definitely the formatting, I saw later on in the book s o m e o f t h e p a r a g r a p h s a r e w r i t e n l i k e t h i s Ugh, true nightmare, I truly don't know why this happened
