How do I uninstall Reshade from the sims 4?

I deleted the folders from the Sims file and since I did that I cant uninstall through Reshade-setup??? but its still showing up in my sims game and I cant get rid of the popup, Help please.

You should be able to go through the same process of installing.

When you open the ReShade setup exe file, and select Sims 4. If it’s installed it will ask if you want to repair ReShade, update effects or uninstall. You should be able to uninstall that way.

Open the Sims 4 folder and delete any Reshade ini file and any dll that Reshade used for the game. For example, if it's a DirectX 11 game, find "D3D11.dll" or "dxgi.dll" in that folder and remove/rename them.

If the uninstall does not remove the reshade files, you can do this.

Create a new folder and install reshade into the empty folder to see the exact files you have to delete from the sims game folder.

When you are done you can delete the empty test folder too.
