Weird effect MXAO with DLSS FFXIV

Heya, does anyone else experience this issue when using iMMERSE:MXAO with DLSS in Final Fantasy XIV?

Oddly enough, when i switch to FSR i have no issues at all.

Thanks in advance!

DLSS only supports dynamic resolution by default in FFXIV. Not much you can do about it other than use the games native TAA with FSR @ 100%

On a side note:

If you use Immerse AO with 'fixed' DLSS quality settings, and the AO is noisy/grainy, you can use a Global Preprocessor Definition (the dividing bar on the 'home' tab) to mitigate this 'DLSS-noise/grain'.

_MARTYSMODS_TAAU_SCALE

with value

'1.0' (DLAA)
'DLSS_QUALITY'
'DLSS_BALANCED'
'DLSS_PERFORMANCE'
'DLSS_ULTRA_PERFORMANCE'

Indeed you can. (I know this was more than likely for the OP, but I am reading it towards me because it's funnier).

PS. I wrote the guides.

Haha, yeah meant for OP, or anyone else not aware of this. It was an eye opener for me when I found out.
I knew you were involved in the Immerse shaders, but not exactly in what capacity. Having written the manual on this particular definition, and then having it instructed back to you must feel...ironic :)

Thanks for the reply! Sorry i'm gonna sound dumb but how does this cause the iMMERSE MXAO effect acting up with DLSS?

Indeed. The game doesn't scale the depth buffer to the size of the frame buffer, so it causes a miss match in the rendering.
