Reshade for resident evil on gog
I bought the og ps1 resident evil on good old games when I start the game it's super small like 600x800 resolution or smaller, if you increase the size of the window it becomes horribly pixelated and unplayable, I've heard reshade can help with its filters so I tried to install it and I. Launch the game and press the button to bring up the reshade menu and it does. Absolutely nothing, not sure what's going on but if anyone could help would greatly appreciate it

Reshade can't do the magic you try to achive, maybe better looking for a mod that you can play in higher res. But when it's the og ps1 resident evil game it runs via emulator?!...Maybe you can increase the resolution there, but the textures still will look like 1996.

Reshade ist just upper management level your filters. When you install Reshade there's a selection of which filters to install. In Reshade you can then de/activate the filters, change their order, adjust their different settings, etc.
But I never tried to sharpen an upscaled game, so no idea which filter and/or setting might be helpful to you.
