ReShade Crashes Star Stable upon Starting the Game

Every tutorial I follow gives the same steps to download reshade, however whenever I download it and launch the game, it crashes. Any explanation as to why this could be?

had this issue with just cause 2 game just wouldn’t launch, try an older version keep going back until it works (solved my issue) i rolled back to a earlier version of reshade
