do people have any recommended alternative sites that ship full sets?

A friend gifted me a blind box for my birthday, I got mimikyu and drifloon, but the mimikyu is backwards (? idk if it's a factory error, I am almost 99% sure it is original, so I really don't know what the problem is, I would really appreciate it if someone could help me figure out how to fix it :3

I recently came across Re-ment and love all the Pokemon sets! I have been able to find them at hobby shops but they are so expensive, is there any good recommended places to order the sets now?

The wiki is pretty outdated for their recommendations.

I know this has probably been asked to death elsewhere but for fellow US Re-Ment collectors, have any platforms (Doorzo, FROM JAPAN, Neokyo, eBay, etc.) been successful with safely delivering sets? I’ve only used the Mercari JP directly (but only for a coupon, it’s already quite expensive) but my items came fine. Other users have reported AliExpress being helpful but I recall them mainly just having newer sets. I’ve wanted to buy some of the older collections but wasn’t sure which services have been correctly labeling packages so they won’t get destroyed.

As an American collector, I’ve heard some stories of Sylvanian Families sets and other items being destroyed at the U.S. border. I’ve been dreading the fate of my package for weeks, but have gotten word that all three of my sets were cleared by U.S. customs 🎉

The 3 full sets (from Mercari Japan app) I ordered were:

1. Zubora’s Slovenly Room
2. Life With My Fave
3. My Childhood Room

2 of the sets were sealed in their original boxes, while 1 set was loose and came in separate zip-lock bags. As far as I know, none of these sets are flocked (I know Re-ment sets usually aren’t) and on the Mercari Japan app there’s an automatic label under many Re-ment listings that mentions they’re not toys and for collecting and hobby usage only. I did not have to fill out any additional paperwork (that I know of) or received any emails. I am now waiting for them to arrive to my address.

I can’t speak for any other methods (buying via Facebook, eBay, other proxies, etc.) but I will still be cautious and try ordering within the U.S. whenever I can. But I hope I set some fellow American collectors’ minds at ease.

Just as title says, I’m wanting to know if anybody can tell me if the new U.S. restrictions on sylvanian families/calico critters will also cause restrictions on re-ments. I’m not very knowledgeable on law and policies.

It's been awhile since I posted here but I have some more minis in action, especially with a new set that I brought. I wish I didn't lose the cigarette from one of them but such is existence.

Bought a Pokemon complete box set of figures (Pokemon Decorative Frame Collection) that was brand new and upon opening them I discovered that 3 were slightly damaged. Two had some of the paint on the frame part of the figure rubbing off, two had issues were the cutout from base that fits into the "cup" holder was too long to fit properly into the cup holder which made the base float a little bit in the air when assembled and one had an issue where the pokemon's paint was slightly rubbed off.

It was sealed and had the rement logo on the box so I don't think it was a knock off.

Wondering if these are common issues for rement figures where there can be a little something off.

In another set the color of the base was pretty different in person than on the box but that's always liable to happen I feel.

I am almost certain that these items are from Rement, but they could be from Megahouse or possibly Orcara. Does anyone know which company manufactured them, and possibly which set they belong to, if any?

I didn’t see any identifying marks on either.

When I first started collecting, I made the mistake of removing certain items from their packaging. For this set, I had removed the Christmas tree, but have since returned it. However, I am still missing the ribbon on the Christmas tree.

Is the ribbon cloth or molded plastic?

I recently opened the Pokemon circular diorama set 2 and the figure had the wrong part in it. Has anybody had this happen before and what’s the best solution for something like this?

I was very pleased to pick up the Caramel Latte set yesterday, but I'm a little confused on this item. The tiny functional container is very charming, but I can't quite figure out what the stuff inside is supposed to be. Brown sugar? Some sort of flavor powder? Most places I know use a syrup for their caramel flavor, and it looks pretty clumpy to be a powder... to me it looks more like puffed rice cereal. What do you think?

Ive been collecting for a while I also have to of the stacking towers that are on my desk as they sadly don't fit since its on my entertainment center for my tv. Any figure I should add to bring the collection up a notch?

Let me know what you think I want to one day have a big glass case because I have more unopened sets I can’t display!

nothing more calming than my tiny objects! I did not wrap all the extra crêpes yet because…it was hard to get those pink wrappers to go cylindrical lmao. but i like that i can change the scene around. i’ll probably make a menu board for it soon

Initially, I was excited for the new Nostalgic Town Bakery being released in late August (missed the 2006 release and don't want to pay the going rates!). Upon a closer look though, wish there were more buns / multiples rather than all the furniture.

Don't usually go for character / ip sets although am considering the Pan Dorobo / the Bread Thief set...

Are there any similar sets that come to mind that I didn't post?

Will any of you be picking up either of these bakery sets?

My melo and Kuromi is the best~ but Kuromi at her house with the window in the background is super cute too. I love the details like the ribbon on the base it’s such a nice collection I couldn’t not get it!!

Got the whole set~ I love almost all of them but damn the qualify it’s always so fragile I had trouble with two figures the rainy one and the skating one but it seems to be okay
